The Community of the Risen Lord - a lay Catholic movement - was founded in the 1980's in Sri Lanka by Lalith & Mercia Perera.
With the CRL growing internationally, Melbourne had their first “Four step” retreat in 2008 which launched a mighty move of the Spirit across Australia. Today, the prayer group ministers to people in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane, Wagga Wagga and Cairns.

Operating within the Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Australia, the mission of the CRL is to bring the experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit to people and into the heart of the Church.
Over the last decade the CRL has been part of ministering to many people across various backgrounds and life situations.
