Yes its 😂😂 . Just like the Kampala Northern Bypass. It was built to reduce traffic Congestion and reduce on the lead time instead of wasting time in traffic jam in Mbarara City.

@Dominicmutyaba my concern is on the name Northern bypass, in Kampala it was named Northern bypass b'se it is north of the city and it's purpose was to connect easily to the northern routes just like the southern bypass is to connect the southern routes, So for Mbarara i think it is not a northern bypass, it is even west of the city, so i think it should be named Mb'ra western bypass or just a bypass😆

Kampala has northern bypass, Kampala Entebbe express way, Kampala flyover, mpigi busega express way is being constructed, and more roads in Kampala

its not on the island. Its in wakiso boarders to Mpigi. but man still underdeveloped with sparse population. but i guess this road is aimed at decongesting Kampala as people from masaka road will easily access Entebbe Airport, they will nolonger have to go to busega to use Entebbe Express highway, but instead use Mpigi to Buwaya stretch that is will be constructed soon and then use the ferry to Nakiwogo and connect to Entebbe. I guess this will increase economic activity at Buwaya and Nakiwogo Landing Sites. And I guess that in future, there will be a ferry that goes direct from Buwaya to Enttebe Airport
