I never had the V65 cause I bought a brand new 1982 Honda V45 Magna. I enjoyed reading about the competition of the V65 and Suzuki's VMax the next year. I enjoyed my V45 for 18 years. I wish that it never left me, but my youngest brother got it in the best up to date shape. Great Honda V45 Magna memories. Ride safe everyone and keep the shiny side up, even if you pop a wheelie 😁👌 no matter what you ride!!

I had 1984 V65. BlackMac 4into1, street slicks, jetted carbs. Ran 10.7 consistent 1/4 miles. Painted black. No decals. Called it the “millennium falcon” Not a car on the road that was even close

I agree,rode both,both awesome bikes,had to buy the v65 for comfort,handling and long hours of riding.38 years 72.000 miles and still riding 😊

Have miles on both,V65 was more comfortable and was a better long distance cruiser than the Vmax

I had them both. Great bikes. Vmax just a little better. Bought a V65 in 1987 and an Vmax 1200 in 2000.

Jet kit, nitrous , let’s try that again 06 VMX12C! No replacement for cool either. They have always needed a 6 speed gear box in my opinion.
