Depending on the kind of adhesive that was used to put those carpet tiles down, it should work. It may take more time and more product for our Mastic Remover to soak through and soften the adhesive. You could always order a smaller amount of the Mastic Remover, a quart or gallon, and test it on a smaller section of carpet tiles to see how it works before applying it to a larger area. And as a reminder, if you do purchase our product, be careful when applying our Mastic Remover near wood trim and drywall as it could soak into those materials as well and possibly stain them! No, Safenol should not darken the wood in any way.

@@user-co2vz3wb1x Lead Out is our only paint stripper that truly neutralizes the lead, making it non-hazardous. Both Soy Gel and Safenol will encapsulate the lead to make the removal and clean up safer but they will not neutralize and turn the lead non-hazardous like Lead Out will.

They both have the same effectiveness, the difference is Lead Out turns the lead in the paint into a non-hazardous compound that makes disposal easy. The Soy Gel will capture the lead paint within the gel, but it will not change it into a non-hazardous compound and will still require proper disposal.

Yes, 605PRO works on urethane

Soy Gel and Lead Out can be used on wood surfaces, concrete and cinder walls. They can't be used on drywall or stucko because the oils will damage the wall.

Sorry you were experiencing issues! We recommend using a degreaser after using Color Change, then letting it sit for a couple minutes to dry. Using a degreaser will take off the oil and should allow the tape to better adhere to the screen. We offer our own screen degreaser, D•GREASE, on franmar.com and through many of our distributors. I'd imagine a stiff nylon brush could scrub it off in manageable chunks if you push the tip of the bristles in the direction you want the pile of stripped paint to go, as if turning the wall of bristle tips into a pushing+scraping edge. Also, plastic razor blades are an amazing and very forgiving tool for delicate scraping work.
