Earlier this year, we lost Radha, Janani's mom to a difficult battle with cancer. It was an incredibly challenging time! Join us as we talk through some of this and share our story. In going through this journey, we've learnt some difficult but precious lessons. We hope that in sharing it, this can be helpful to some of you. If you are new here, since before we (Janani and Siddharth) knew each other, we have enjoyed sharing stories with friends and relatives around a table of healthy, delicious food. We find it nurturing to share our stories and listen deeply to others'.

About the name: We enjoy food from Sampoorna Ahara, an initiative that we are a part of. We get our meals each day in steel tiffin boxes, or 'dabbas'. We find this fun because in many Indian languages, 'dabba' is also used to irreverently describe something as useless. Just ensuring we don't get too serious in life :)
