Nice to see the Britten powering around Ruapuna again. I filmed a little of the last one being put together at the Britten workshop in Carlisle St, Christchurch some years ago now. We also captured video of that last made bike along with an earlier one racing around Ruapuna, alone but together. Spine tingling stuff. Cheers mate.

We use to go on that road every time we went to Alexandra in the car in the 70's and 80"s from Invercargill for Holiidays at least 5 times a year as dad said you wouldn't see any caravans on it. I was lucky enough to ride from Ettrick to Kelso a few years ago on the way to the Bert and thought what a Gem of a road. But have not been south for a few years but this is one of those roads you could ride one way and turn around and ride back over it the other way as it's such a great road. Lots of great roads around the south that I have yet to hoon around on.

Thanks for the video. I just did my helmet, starting out with a box cutter knife to cut out the initial hole and get the shape, then a soldering iron to get it deep enough and to square off the edges. It worked well, but im very concerned about the toxis smoke that came off when I did it. I'm going to air the helmet for 12-24 hours before using it. The speakers fit SO much better now, they are completely flush with the inside of the helmet. Just hope I don't crash and will not need to worry about potential integrity issues after doing this.
