Sounds great. I was looking at getting a Marshall 1987x with attenuator for that plexi thing. Maybe I just need this.

The best amp ever made is a stretch. It's very fizzy. Try a 1974x... Bone stock It's rock and roll. That's a decent cheap amp but you should rethink your description.

These are my favorite sounding amps of all lower cost amps. I will say that for my taste, having the master cranked is what really takes these amps to another level, but it’s all subjective. I always have the master dimed on Origin 20, and then turn the gain to taste. Some techs out there don’t like that these claim to be like a “plexi”, since the circuitry isn’t anywhere near those old school Marshalls. I personally don’t care how the sound is generated, only about how it sounds. And it does sound like 80% like a plexi era Marshall to me. I don’t use gain pedals at all, but if that’s your thing the Origins take pedals really well. Just a really awesome amp for the money. And there are great mods you can do to them to take it to another level.

I made the mistake of buying one. Worst Marshall, worst tube amp I've ever owned.

I have the Origin 50 head, running into a custom sealed back/front thiele ported 1x12 cab loaded with a Warehouse Guitar Speakers Veteran 30. I use this rig mostly for church. My cab is in an isobox in a room just behind our stage platform. I run the head's master at about 2/3 of the way up, with the gain at straight up, set on the high output setting. It's STUPID loud in the room the cab is in, even with the isobox closed up. You can hit the origin with nearly any kind of drive and it just sounds amazing. I have a Nu-X Morningstar (bluesbreaker type drive, and a more or less copy of the JHS Morning Glory)... for lower gain drives, this is a great combo. I also have a RockReady Brit Crunch on my board for higher gain drive, this pedal is sort of a poor-man's Marshall Guv'nor, and it just makes the Origin SCREAM JCM800 tones. I think my Origin is my favorite amp I have ever owned. Great clean tones from it, too.

My ex gfs young son did that to my ES on purpose and threw it onto my garage floor broke the stock off and the fret board. I think it was either my es or an ibanez

This is why it's important to properly mount things. You either need to put screws into the studs or buy decent mounting inserts for drywall.

It does a good PLEXI sound...Sounds closer to Plexi than a JCM 800... This is better for 70s tones and beats an 800 for Classic AC/DC, Zeppelin Thin Lizzy Purple.. 800 wins the 80s Marshall tones..

Great amp , most haters here play in a bedroom with 3000 bucks stuff. Money dont make great players, hability is needed.

Does the amp have an effects loop? If not, how well can the amp handle delay in front? And time based effects. Some amps simply can’t!!

What tuning

Foot switch activates the effects loop and why that is good is you can use a uad dream or other into the return and use it as the preamp . And if you use an ab box you can run into Marshall and and uad and then use the foot switch to run it like a two channel or two amp system - very cool - combo size also a great gigger … nice demo Bro and just had a quick Listen to your single 😉
