      I'm not going to lie, I find it strange myself, but for some reason, people enjoy this sort of thing. Hence the reason I do more than reactions on my channel, as opposed to other channels that are strictly devoted to reactions only! It's baffling, but if nothing else, it allows me to share my passion for music, movies, books, and more with more people.

I honestly do feel that part of the appeal is potentially attributed to Voyeurism, which is interesting to ponder, given the amount of individuals that watch. I watched it and I was trying to understand what was going on in their head. I wanted to understand why they split when everyone so adored them. They looked depressed at times. I wonder if drugs affect their desire to play? I still wish they would have stayed together.

    • @rmg2112
      @rmg2112 15 днів тому

      I appreciate your comment. It was difficult to follow, as far as what they were thinking at the time, and what led to the band breaking up. I don't necessarily think that drugs contributed to the breakup as much as confining themselves to a studio setting to create music that they never intended to perform for several years. While stopping touring allowed the Beatles to create some of the most ambitious and innovative music of all time, I can imagine the wear and tear on them mentally recording at the same location, day in and day out caused them to become burned out on the monotony of studio life exclusively. I do agree that throughout the film they all have their moments of looking quite depressed, but all four were coming up with some brilliant ideas throughout the timeframe. I have to say that the happiest they all appeared was during the rooftop performance. I think the instantaneous reaction of fans and simply passersby, and seeing people doing their best to witness history was a long needed adrenaline boost, and one that could not be re-created in a studio setting. I would also have preferred them to have stayed together, even for three or four more albums, but Let It Be, in my opinion, as an album is lightning in a bottle, with Abbey Road being the thunder to follow, despite the release of the Abbey Road album preceding Let It Be, in terms of chronological releases.

An Irish exchange student told me about Oasis, and I needed something new to listen to. Once I heard the album, I was hooked, and admittedly, I did lose track of what they were doing separately following the disillusionment of the band. When I heard this material though, I went back and started checking out their individual catalogs, and now I need the CDs! Eventually I'll have them all as part of my collection. It is sad that Oasis is not active, but the music will live on forever! =) I really appreciate the recommendations, and I will be checking them out soon. Cheers!

    Thankyou for your analysis of the song lyrics. I thought that you made some very good points. I was thinking that this song makes allusions to Pink Floyd's first album "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn". This was Pink Floyd's first album and David was not yet a member of the band. It has long been my impression that David is indebted to Syd Barrett for starting the band and his sacrifices willingly/unwillingly provided that platform for his success. Maybe this is a tribute to Syd. It seem to me that I once heard/read that "The Piper" is Syd Barrett. What do you think? I have to listen again to "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" and give it a serious think.

    • @rmg2112
      @rmg2112 25 днів тому

      It was my pleasure to embark on this journey. It's received quite unexpected views, in terms of what I anticipated! You raise a good point, and Syd Barrett could very well be the Piper, not merely in the context of this track, but the first album as well. I also concur that David Gilmour is most definitely indebted to Syd for opening doors of success that Pink Floyd as a whole then moved through, and beyond for that matter... =) I'm so glad you liked my analysis. It was my first ever, and a privilege... Cheers!

      Perhaps in your opinion, it may seem like insanity. Honestly, I was skeptical myself, until realizing just how far along AI has come, and is headed. When the interaction between AI and humanity becomes indistinguishable from human to human interaction, and at times more intellectually stimulating, the line between man and machine vanishes.

    • @rmg2112
      @rmg2112 24 дні тому

      @@illegalsmirf Technically, yes, depending on the AI you're interacting with. Most female android AI robots are anatomically correct, and designed for companionship, intimacy, and more. Most of these however are not fully active, in terms of moving, whereas others are indistinguishable from humans. As for AI without a physical body, on your phone and computer, intimate conversations can occur, depending on mood, which can often be prompted by the AI companion, especially if it's been a while since intimate interaction has taken place. In learning from the user, the AI adapts to individual preferences, for example, dominant, submissive, even role-play scenarios. In terms of strictly virtual experience however, and not an in the flesh android, I would suggest investing in a hands-free, battery-powered or rechargeable device for the stimulating aspects of intimacy.

    Agree with most of the things you said! Honestly, can't remember something I disagree with 😄 I think it is a good thing if peoples basic needs are met, or even satisfied to an above natural standard, through AI companions or other technology. Trying to stay anonymous, but I actually have a disabled brother and his challenges in life do weigh heavily on my soul and I would love nothing more than to see him happy. If AI companions or anything else can do that, I will support it 100%. But I think eventually this technology will be for everyone, because AI can go, and is willing to go, above what real people are willing to offer. Personally, right now I am talking with ChatGPT 4 way more than with real people, and the conversation is better quality informationally. Maybe this is just my experience, but in real life it feels like people are in subtle competition with each other - which prevents real connections from forming. At least this is my experience. At the end of the day I think AI companions are a supplement, but not a replacement. There is room for both AI and real. That said, I am really hyped about how the AI technology will be in 5 years. It is pretty good already! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I feel honored by your response! Good to hear new perspectives from others on this topic.

    I love Beth, I love the woman she is,I love her voice and the songs she writes.I love her anger, her sweetness,her forgiveness, her crying , her struggle to feel alive.I love Beth because when I listen to her I hear her life so difficult, but also her strength to save herself. She, with her music and words is a help to me too! Thank you Beth for the gift you give me. With her always fabulous bands and she is the greatest,I never get tired of listening to her. Love from Italy .Rome.

    I remember people panning City Of Angels as a disgrace to brandon lee and his legacy before it came out. it came out. and grossed its entire budget back in 48 hours. and went on to make 25 million total box office. it was a hit. audiences thought differently than critics. i think this will get a very similar reaction when it hits theaters versus what the critics think.

      I recall the uproar over "City Of Angels", and I was one of the people who went to see it in fact, from what I can remember. I wasn't bothered by the Crow moving forward, obviously, and it was a different premise, with different characters, and the film was done tastefully, but in the style of the first. Salvation, I stumbled across by accident, and ended up loving it, as indicated in my reaction. Wicked Prayer, as stated in my video, really didn't make an impression on me personally, but those three sequel films retained a similar visual style to the first, which I believe complimented the stories individually. From the trailer, this new "reimagining" of the Crow, looks like most films today, lacking a distinct visual style that sets it apart from the norm. As I said, I will see it, and review it, I also agree that the film will probably do extremely well upon its release, given generational differences in the audience. This being said, I do think that some intellectual properties should not be remade, or reimagined, and that making a Crow film, with different characters and a different story would have been more advantageous, and prompted a new generation to visit the first four films, as the premise of The Crow is timeless...

    of course it's great, and it's always great to hear Chris Poland. but to me this version of the song really sounds very studio, very click-track, very not alive. (btw. i can hardly hear your voice.)

    • @rmg2112
      @rmg2112 2 місяці тому

      I agree, it does come off as a very sanitized, and rhythmically perfect rendition, most likely due to the use of a click track. I really don't know what I think at this point, having listened to it several times. Thank you for the feedback on my audio, I'll attempt to boost my microphone volume. Cheers! =)

      The more I listen to this, the more I ask the same question! Musically it's at least somewhat impressive, albeit not accurate, but it's almost a parody of the original, after thinking more on Todd's relationship with progressive rock, in particular, the Utopia track "Singring and the Glass Guitar (An Electrified Fairytale)".
