      I don’t know anything about Virginia Beach to be honest..but I know a lot about Destin, so I would have to say Destin. I met a lot of great people there, plus if you choose Destin the money is great March-September, and even in October because of the Destin fishing rodeo. Destin is great because you can go see a lot of cool places along the Gulf of Mexico. The people are awesome too and it’s relatively cheap compared to other luxury spots. Either way would probably be a win for you! The season is here. Wherever you choose, make your choice and commit to it and don’t look back. Make the best of it, and then next season try somewhere else. There is no wrong option. I’d choose Destin though. :)

    curious wooden houses, they are about the size of British brick houses, bigger than Mexican social housing projects, but I bet for an American it's quite small, perfect for a summer home, is that the actual therm for them? I mean "gingerbread cottages"?

    • @servingandswerving4106
      @servingandswerving4106 Рік тому

      It makes sense they look similar to the British houses. They were inspired by what they knew, and since a lot of them came from England. It was originally just tents that Methodists would go to every summer, and they eventually built houses there. It’s a cool look back in the past. That’s the term, “gingerbread houses”, a lot of people take tours of them in the summer. A lot of people know a lot more on the subject than I did, but it was neat living there for a summer and riding my bike through them. I love small, quaint New England style homes. Very charming.

But I have my car registered to do LYFT in New Orleans, so I’ll drive down there and stay for a week or so. I'm not easily impressed when it comes to barbecue, as I have been a traveler and have eaten at all the barbecue meccas around the country. I had the Big muddy today and it was fantastic.
