I hope someone can find the classic skit that was about a circus performer who would throw 3 bears around in an enclosed ring. What made it funny was the trademark phrase of Schaefer beer. When asked his one favorite bear to heave in the ring when he was throwing more than 1 bear, his respond was "Shaefer was the one bear to heave when your heaving more than one".
man rip cj morgan best skit ever. every time the saints made it into the playoffs. smh i used to be laughing my as off on the bus waiting to get let out to go to breakfast.
This was on my Papaw’s old Christmas Cassette tape, I’ve been looking for this forever! This is our first christmas since he passed and this made me smile..
Hudson and Landry were the best comedic duo of the 1970s One of my favorite routines of theirs was the heckler at a campaign speech. I flew 30 seconds over Tokyo (WW2) And you got there by way of an opium den in Hong Kong
I first heard these clips on KDKA 1020 Pittsburgh. Jack Wheeler had an overnight call in talk program and I should have been in bed after midnight. I learned more about comedy on the radio than the Cutups at school. I bought all the H&L albums I could find and listened to them before bed.
My favorite Christmas comedy routine. I've loved it since the first time I heard it. A local country radio DJ burned me a DVD of it back in the mid 90s.
I absolutely love the Years ago my ex played it for me and every year I replay it over n over just before Thanksgiving till after the New Year.... Makes my heart smile ♡ ty
This is kinda "rappish" in a more overt way than Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues was sorta rappish in 1965. My dad was a school teacher+ listened to Hudson and Landry when getting ready for work in the morning...us kids, pre-teens, laughed our heads off. this has to be like 1971-ish 1972-ish.
Hudson & Landry did some of their best work on KHJ in LA. One of their strongest disciples was a young DJ just coming to NYC from WGAR in Cleveland. His name? Don Imus.
CJ Morgan (nee Monix) also played this record when he was a beloved DJ in Memphis way back in the day. I was not aware of his passing. I'm sorry to learn of it.
Hilarious 😅
Bring back memories from the late CJ Morgan when he was in Memphis. Every Friday morning 7:30 am.

You couldn’t play this today
Thanks to democrat party, politically correct and 'woke' insanity you can't do a lot of things today. We're on a slide into full-scale socialism.
I absolutely love the Years ago my ex played it for me and every year I replay it over n over just before Thanksgiving till after the New Year.... Makes my heart smile ♡ ty
I'm 55 years old and I have been hunting this since I was in my twenties I heard it once and always wanted to hear it again and here it is
I used to joke and talk like I was gay. I stopped because people thought that I was gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I AM STRAIGHT.
Awesome
TOO GOOD, SUCH A SHORT TIME HERE
let's get down to the Khyber Rifles...
LOL, Booker T Welfare.
The Orb brought me here
Their routine "The Prospectors" is an absolute classic.
That is rather stickey wickett, isn't it?
I remember hearing this the 1st time. It never loses its charm. So funny.
I heard this brodcast first time back in 1982 or 83 I was either 8 or 9 years old at the time but it's tradition I gotta listen to it every year
I remember as a kid when Q105 here in Tampa would play this every Christmas always a tradition

True comedy with no profanity look at the garbage we hear today
Classic!! Simply classic! One of the greatest comedy teams of all time. Thank you for posting.
