i agree 500%. i have to argue w my dr every month to let me taper… i’m on probation, so i had to get permission FROM THE STATE to get sober. it’s up to them. if i no show at my clinic my po shows up to my crib n arrests me. my dr reads me the stats “at 1 year on methadone you only have a 12% chance on recovery. 17% at 2 years. 87% at 5 years.” BULLSHIIIIIII they just want my $. i’ll finally be off this in 2 weeks ❤️🩹
Where’s the full?

Fentanyl is not oxycodone
I started to watch, then decided to have a drink instead.
You're basically a liability to his business no matter how close you are to him/her... Every month your consumption goes up... Fear of putting yourself in debt will eliminate your life.. for other realistic consequences you would have put yourself through... Even the most professional dealer has to come to a point, remaining God's good grace or business is business... And in the underground or underworld business, the decision dominates or takes power... take it from an x...😮🥱🤭
addiction is not a disease, it's a lack of a proper sense of responsibility, bad choice, medical ignorance, lacking any meaningful life goals or philosophies etc.
Wow, your Mom was the best! No doubt! I had a really cool Mom like that for 39 years as she passed away last year sadly. She saw me sober for years and I miss her so so much. Your story about her helping you through that shroom trip def touched me and reminded me of my Mom. 😢❤️👍🔥 Good stuff, thx and good luck! 💯
Does anyone have a link to the story Bill Wilson told about when he was in college, how he solved a math problem that no one else could? I can't find it, help me!
So I work in construction, have been for over a decade. It narrows down to two types; absolute degenerates, or born again bible thumpers. It’s amazing how we are all one team 😂
Thank you for your story. It's keeping me sober, clean, and less alone today. I resonated with various parts and feel seen, even though we are different. I really appreciated your perspective of higher power. It's similar to mine.
I'm so proud of you
I was a nasty drug addict myself. The line I never crossed was stealing from my parents. Like ok I did cross it but I would always ask for it (beg for it really lol) n I could say that they only did that once. I always stole but from others which doesn’t make it any better but that kind of helped me keep a home over my head. Which I am grateful that my parents never gave up on me even though if they had I wouldn’t had blamed them.
For me it was sort of backwards. I only had that joy and the want to live when I had drugs in me. Soon as I was in withdrawal I felt exactly what you are describing here. But it was for the exact same reason, drugs. And only once I had gotten sober for 3 months for the first time did I realise that all that joy and happiness was fake. Because when I laughed sober for the first time, when I cried sober for the first time, even when I got angry for the first time sober. I could truly feel the feeling and it wasn’t a substance bringing in those feelings it was myself and it’s just so different but when you’re on drugs it’s like this cover over you that doesn’t let you see it’s fake.
Prob p2p because meth isn't that strong today
You wonder how some of these people with insanely dark story’s didn’t commit suicide. That means if you are going through something just know it is alright.
Why does any talk about addiction/substance abuse coming from 12 steppers have to be fucking ruined by the first question being, "clean date?". Why the fuck does that matter. What's your personality like? What changed for you that made you want to adjust your behaviors? What are you about? What do you believe in? What makes you tick? Ya know, actually substantial questions. The obsession over clean date and length of sobriety doesn't mean shit. It's completely superficial and is mostly used for a quick applause and the attention. I do not give a fuck how long someone has been sober, and sometimes even if they're not sober, judge the person on what they have to say and their actions. That's one more reason why the "program" is outdated and should have been tossed years ago. Length of sobriety should be the absolute last thing talked about, almost a light afterthought to do a bit of bragging after a meeting or something. That's it. Not this superficial attention grabbing nonsense where that is front and center. Complete opposite of how any support program should be. Fucking cult, fucking stupid groupthink frat sorority nonsense.
I miss oxy now fentanyl is the real killer
Parrish king Jr Rest in peace cuz Forever remembered as a legend Jan/28/91-Feb/22/24 Hold it down until we get there
How did he pass? 😢
It isn’t psychosis
I personally never felt comfortable at either. I found a support network of people who weren't former addicts and then I didn't have to listen to any talk about "disease" or war stories.
It’s a disease weather you like that word or not
I think it is healing for others to see a parent take this kind of accountability, just a chance to see what that would look like is a kind of liberation even if your own caregivers couldnt give that to you.
Scoooooooommm
Okay but what is her Name ??? Social media ? I just love her !! 🥹🥰🥰
How can i get a hold of this dude... i got almost the same problem. Sucks
But also, the fact to have been through that doesnt make you any lesser than others. I feel that whatever trauma makes the victim feel or a lesser/looser or narcissistically superpowered as the unstoppable survivor like robot(Arnold swartzenegher😅 one).. No one is none of those. We are all people affected by generational unhealed traumas. As healing Trauma is an idea relatively true, we need to be informed about and spread share this knowledge to create a trauma informed culture more empathetic and compassionate, supportive, respectful and genuinely kind towards others. On the other side oc the fence we need to learn kind assertive communication style to state indubitably our boundaries and stand for them, never going back on our word
Powerful story. Thanks for sharing. Should be a part of every nursing student and doctors journey.
Thank you 🙏

Good interview
these guys look like twins kinda.
Glad to be here bro. Keep doing what you're doing, the content is great!
Hi, I'm soooo uncool. Never did drugs.
Enjoyed the story!but where all these talks seem to fail is the guests do not go in depth about what really worked for them and especially with meth or drugs like that...how long did it take to feel normal if even you do?was there a replacement?antidepressants or supplements?in depth about support systems?it's not just this podcast many do not go into what worked or didn't work in depth!!yeah they might brush the basics like I was in a rehab 15 times or I was In Novac's house and that saved me but what were the other things?😂
Thanks for watching and I believe she did explain what worked in her staying clean. There is no magic sauce to staying clean though, it’s pretty basic. You stop using, and hanging around people that use. Find a support system, like a 12 step fellowship and take suggestions from there. Everyone’s recovery can look a little different depending on the person. There are other episodes on this podcast where people talk about meditation assisted recovery and mental health treatments. Good luck in your journey ❤️
I bet they absolutely looooove her in meetings. Shes probably the belle of the ball
Great story! Love it boys
Thank you!
Really grateful for your recovery and mindfulness! Thank you for your truth and humbleness.
Im binge watching these interviews, and I really appreciate the content and format of this channel. I dont know why you don't have more views. I think your audio levels are a bit off, and that might be causing people to not listen to the whole interview. Mostly, the guests arent as loud as you are, so maybe if you bump their levels up a bit, that would improve the watch time. Youre doing a really great job though. Please keep up the great work!
Or maybe add a compression filter to the audio stream after recording. That might fix the levels too. Some of the guests move closer and further to the mic during the interview, and that makes it a little hard to hear without (me having to) adjust the volume during playback
Thank you and thank you for the input! I’m a one man show and I am learning everything as I go. I didn’t know anything about audio so I’m still trying to figure it out. The problem when I increase the gain is I get more white noise. My next step is to buy a real cloud lifter. Maybe you can message me on instagram so I can reach out for pointers and tips?
Puss
Was either some top quality coke or you had taken far too much or it was mixed with something else
❤
Clicked on this so fast - I twice went off everything including caffeine for just short of a year , what was so difficult in those last few weeks and months is that there stopped being any improvement whatsoever, and I was not happy , not living any kind of life - I would tell myself , I’m not going to die , I’m sure I’m going to survive this now, but , I don’t really want to . I just didn’t want to live a life that miserable- what is the point? For me, a large part of things is that I do have a chronic pain and disability , that’s how I was introduced to addictive medications in the first place . For my experience, substances were from a doctor prescription for a medical condition and given to me by a pharmacy, and for the relief and quality of life, the medication was truly a God send - but these kind of medications can’t be effective forever, we build tolerance - for me,’the options were maintenance medications , which were truly again a Godsend to become free from the opiates -the pain relief of course has a ceiling and isn’t going to touch all types of pain, it’s just how it is,‘kind of have to pick your battles right ? To come off of the suboxone is not easy either , it’s just not as savage as with full on opoiates, it’s slower and longer - but outside of the first 3-4’months , I got to a point where there just wasn’t improvement day to day or week to week, each day each week was the same miserable ,’dark nothingness - it was physically survivable ,’but , I wouldn’t recommend it - I’m sure there is a way ,‘I just have not found it yet-‘
Thank you for your comment and support of the podcast. I wish you well in your journey. Remember, when your in your dark moments they seem as if they will last forever, but they do not. Keep looking for solutions and when you find it please share with me. Good luck and God speed.
hello I'm 14 and want to do construction when I get out of high school. How can I get an apprenticeship, like having a good chance of getting the job, etc. any tips?
Look up a local construction union...ask to join.
Start smoking crack at least every day
What are looking to do? I do hvac and it all depends which route you want to take
It's the neural pathways in your brain. You spent years building them, it's gonna take years to reconstruct them. Even after you quit using those pathways are still there. What they call "triggers" are situations that make those neural pathways fire up and you're back on the path of drug seeking behavior. It's why they call it "behavioral therapy", you have to change the way your body behaves and at the core of it is your brain.
Dr. Peterson had a good way of putting it in a video I saw yesterday. "You have circuits you build in your brain, when you build your drug circuits you also have other circuits associated with it. On the way home from work and you buy some beer on the way home? So even if you stop buying it you'll have that "stop at the store" circuit activate when you leave work. What you can do is create new circuits to override the old ones. If you have a favorite store to buy your alcohol, take a different route home. You can create new patterns of behavior and new circuits to override the old circuits of addiction, until finally they shut down."
love yall!
Yep, some of us couldn't see past the next day let alone 5 years from then.
Great heartfelt interview! Glad the man is back in the rooms. 💪🏻❤
I love these stories, lord knows I got some insane ones… helps me feel not so alone lol
