You honestly should be able to set up your own guitar if you are going to do stuff like this. Just dive in. There's really nothing you can do, set up wise, that can't be undone. You yourself will be a pro in no time. I go much further then him. Round my finger board edges for that high end feel. Set my action exactly how I want it starting at the nut. Setting intonation ect. Have fun. There's nothing he actually did to make it play better lol. Didn't touch the frets or action. Just several thing that give it the playability of a much higher end guitar. He changed things to do with sound. Which with a good amp, you wouldn't even notice

That guitar body looks rad with the red flame top and the new bridge looks like it was supposed to be there. I owned a MIJ Ibanez RG 7-string in the early 2000's. It was all black with a single thick skunk stripe on the neck. It sounded so sick on my Mesa Triple Rectifier.

Very cool video, but do yourself a favor and learn to solder properly. It'll save you a ton of effort and problems from substandard solder joints. Just off the top of my head - never tap anything with the soldering iron/gun nozzle. Make firm, solid contact between the soldering iron/gun tip and whatever you're heating up, for the appropriate amount of time, then remove it. Thanks again for the video.

What you show here are the tricks they always tell beginners to upgrade their entry level guitars. So they put a lot of bucks and work into that and usually end up with the same guitar again and some fantasizing maybe. You won't get a better sounding guitar except for better pickups. The cavities are already shielded and how much buzz was there really before applying the foil? There is nothing wrong with that Ibanez bridge, nor the nut, nor the electrics. No need to swap. There are other ways to improve the sound and you did not mention one of them. Btw: Where is the acoustic before and after comparison?
