If you get fouled and say nothing and hit it, basket is good. sometimes if yiure fouled the defender may give it to you , respectfully but not all the time. Thats how we play. We will call you soft if you say and one and miss but want the foul call. Likely kick you off the Court

Depends where you play, I’ve hooped at places where if you call foul it’s check up even if you make it. Then other places you can just call foul and make it still counts and then others where that has to be called and1.
