Incredible run! I wish they saved times because this might be a new record. You've demonstrated just how critical the start up the hill is. You've won this race already on 116th after your first turn. - I kid you not! I estimate you were already 10 blocks ahead by Columbus Circle. It was already over, except you never know.. you later got knocked off your board by an e-board that was shocked to run into you, but you recovered flawlessly (18:40). Congratulations!

Actually one difference: I have a 43* truck in the front, which is just a little more stable and yields slightly higher top pumping speed than the 50* stock.

Thanks!! I was gonna do music, but that changes copyright stuff and i felt like fully owning the video. I know there are tons of no copyright sounds out there, i just didn't feel like caring about it tbh. The trip is pretty cool.. it's def getting a lot of people into ldp longboarding that usually don't do it.
Daniel great video and overview. A question on the hardware: what size/length did you use with the 1/16” shock pad? Thanks!
Hey alejandro, thanks for the comment. I used 1" hardware. It fits perfectly with a few threads sticking through. For risers bigger than 1/8" to less than 1/2", you'll definitely need 1.25" hardware, and for risers 1/2" and bigger, go for the 1.5" hardware. The reason I prefer the buttonhead hardware over the countersunk is because the buttonhead didn't dig into your board or create pressure cracks.
FYI, Camber and Profile are different. Camber is lengthwise curvature and profile is widthwise curvature. This deck has rocker profile but flatbed camber.
