I'm a location independent solopreneur living in Portugal with my family of four. I'm also a best-selling author, keynote speaker, trainer, and book coach who has been obsessed with writing since second grade (and with books since age 4!). Over the last ten plus years in the publishing industry, I've written, coached, or edited dozens of books and had a hand in hundreds more. I also served as the long-time ghostwriter for a Nobel Prize winner in medicine and as executive editor of a national magazine that reached around 11 million readers. I’m cofounder of Next Level Women Leaders, a training company that has trained leaders from Starbucks, The Boeing Company, Intuit, and more. This channel is part-business (writing, solopreneurship), part-fun (travel, expat life, family). I'm glad you're here!

Insightful! I appreciate this 🙏
So glad you enjoyed it!
I’m so happy I discovered your channel! Our faraway dream of moving to Portugal “one day” is rapidly becoming a reality after this heartbreaking election… and I really appreciate all the info you are sharing. Also your videography at the beginning is GORGEOUS 😍
Your podcast is really awesome❤
Hi Stacy, Thank you for sharing your experiences in life/Portugal etc. Enjoyed. You are pleasant to listen to as well. I just learned from my sister that Portugal is a beautiful place so my research landed me here to your video. I am retired and now considering the possibility of retiring somewhere for a new experience that is quiet, safe, peaceful etc. Your video and writings have been very helpful in giving me some idea as to what to expect when it comes to necessities and how to proceed. Thank you again.
fabulous information. Betsy is one shrewd thinker, and I love her analogy that our "aptitude" is the seeds of our skills.
Wonderful Video. It's very useful. I can bring you millions of millions of views Watch time and subscribers to your target location.
I also used enemas for detoxing and gut health.
Thank you so much, Stacy for having me as a guest to talk about one of my favorite subjects, Outsourcing - and how it can be the key to not only business success but self-care success, too.

We've been on a cruise and I've been waiting eagerly to get to land so I could listen/watch this update!
Thank you for leaving such a sweet comment, I hope you enjoy the episode on our life update here in Portugal ☺️ have a fun trip on your cruise!
Stacy--Dr. Bill Creasy here. Very nice podcast on Portugal. I've visited Portugal on a couple of occasions and this August I'll be leading a group of 20 people as we walk the Portuguese route of the Camino de Santiago. We live in San Diego, but we've been seriously considering life as ex-pats, perhaps in Portugal, Spain or Italy. Any thoughts?

What a very inspirational story. As an aspiring author, I often second guess myself. I know what God told me, and I know he ordered me to write g to his book. Mike’s story has definitely motivated. Thanks a million!💯✝️❤️😊

Great interview. Lots of good ideas from this. Thank you!
Thank you! I'm glad you found it helpful.
This video didn't tell us what jobs you could do with English
Thanks for the comment. I guess I should have been more specific. :-) I created this to be shown at a freshman event for Boise State University, and they mostly wanted me to talk about what I'm doing right now with my English major. There are so many things you can do, but I think the most important thing to know is that there are lots of possibilities with English, well beyond teaching. Writing, consulting, editing . . . lots of opportunities!
Hi Stacy, I'm currently a freshmen in college and I'm stuck between communications, marketing, and english with a concentration in creative writing. If I were to major in english, I'm not looking to be an english teacher. I'm wondering what else I could do with an english degree with a concentration in creative writing. My dream is to write books, novels, essays, and research papers, and to give TED talks. Thanks!
Hi, Priscilla! Thanks for watching and commenting. I've personally found that a practically-focused degree-writing (general) for my bachelor's, professional writing and editing for my master's-has been a good route for me. However, I know a lot of people who have been successful with creative writing degrees. What I like about the "professional" degrees (not that creative writing isn't professional, of course) is that they gear you more toward the business world-learning applicable skills that you can bring to an employer or, if you're like me, your own company. I don't know enough about a creative writing degree to say whether those programs would equip you with the same skills as a general writing or professional writing degree. I have done all of what you named: written several books, essays, and papers, including my current project, which is a novel, and even given a TEDx talk. My English degree was a great foundational piece but the most important thing for me was the real-world experience I gained alongside my degree, including Internships and a few different full-time jobs.
So you have a bachelor's in writing, and a masters in PW and editing?
Hi again, would I be able to contact you over email if I have more questions? Or would commenting work better?
Feel free to send me an e-mail! stacyennis.com/contact
Yes, and I also have a minor in visual art alongside my writing bachelor's.
