Seventh Trumpet is a symphonic rock band, that also embraces the styles of folk, pop, jazz, blues, choral, and gospel. Seventh Trumpet loves to take Scripture and set it to music. The founding members of Seventh Trumpet were David Sack, Martin Christiansen and Rich Kumm. Heidi Sack has become a valuable member over the past 5 years. The band has had the privilege in the past of employing many session musicians and vocalists including: Terry Lovekamp, Reese Tirpak, Jackson Price, Jess Krongos, and Paul Bill Jr. On its most recent album, (Glory of God) Seventh Trumpet has made use of the talents of Kevin Krongos, Ian Zavan, and Alexis Dimitriou. Currently Seventh Trumpet has released 5 albums:

This song/video brought us to tears. The song is a chiasm of sorts(A Hebrew literary device). It takes us from God to Mary to Jesus as a baby to Jesus as an adult all alone back to a different Mary and then back to God again. The lyrics are somewhat eclectic, attempting to equate God's plan of salvation as a divine drama.

I have always found the Devil asking for permission to tempt a very interesting concept. It's always lead me to the thought that God doesn't make bad things happen, but he allows them. How comforting to know that Jesus understands how we feel when we feel abandoned.

My own personal story: "Hello my name is Rafael!" Dave, you may remember me telling you how Rafael appeared to me in the middle of the night -- and he instructed me to write a song about him (including giving me most of the words!) that ultimately served to be great comfort for my mother as she was passing away some years later. This seems fantastical when I tell it like this, but I believe with all my heart that it truly happened and truly was intended as a message from the Lord to both myself and my mom. Angels are God's messengers here on earth!
