OEDRO Full Vehicle All Weather Protective Floor Liners for 2024 / 2025 Subaru Crosstrek full review
Oedro hit a home run with these all weather floor liners. They look great in my opinion and they fit great. They are not heavy duty, but certainly thick enough to handle almost everything. For the price you get full car protection that will last the lifetime of the vehicle.
These are well worth the investment in my opinion.

Customer Satisfaction Program N242435631 Serial Data Gateway Module and Radio. Issued 9-3-24 per GM website as a recall. I was just notified by phone. Resolves: "battery is at risk for a drain following an over-the-air update." Sorry I wasn't able to provide this sooner. Literally the day the dealer looked at the truck, is the day 24 models were added to the list of vehicles with known OTA battery drain issues from my investigation. 4 weeks later it was an official recall.
Still has the check engine light on?
I cleared it the day I pulled the codes. That's why the botched Over The Air (OTA) update theory is probably the best for my situation.
Nice video and grill lol
Thank you for your honest evaluation and sharing of the grill. We have received your suggestions and will feedback to the R&D department! Thank you again! I hope this grill will bring you barbecue happiness!😁😁😁
It’s the body control module guaranteed
This is good to know. I’m currently looking at these. Tundras went out of control on their prices and are having issues as well.
I know. I wanted a Tundra until I saw the prices. But the Chevy has been great. I am enjoying it.
I have a 24 RST 4x4. Similar situation about 2 weeks ago. Remote start failed to work but the dash all worked and would start with the push button. Less than 100 miles. This was obviously before I saw your video or knew anything about the TSB but I did exactly what you did (removed the batt cable). Got a check engine light with like 20 codes I shit you not. I tried clearing with no luck. Drove the truck for a driving cycle and came home. Truck sat till the nxt day. Light miraculously was off. No issues since. Mine also did that weird thing where it made you open and close the window. Guessing that was due to it needing to re-learn with the window switch or something who knows. But I'm at over 650 miles now no further issues.
Same issue sounds like. But holy crap I did not know about the window thing and was fighting to get the window to do what I wanted. I thought my truck was possessed. Mystery solved. Ha ha. Anyway the failed update sounds most likely what happened to us both. I bet most of those 20 codes were communication codes between modules.
It's not that big a deal guy . GM already knows that it's an OTA update issue . Contact your dealer.
But I didn't know. And others having the same issue don't know. So, you know... New truck. Dead and unresponsive... But yea, I believe that was likely the issue after research, talking to people, and having no problem since. I'm pinning this because this is what everybody thinks happened -even service guy.
@@AttommicDogGlad you posted this
Not necessarily the issue. I have a 2024 HC and had issues as well. The dealership did the data gateway recall but after they found a dash code. In trying to do it (3x they said) it wouldn't take then they said the dash stopped working. I think they fried the dash or something. I'm furious. It's been there 9 days for the recall, and now this!!
@@scottloy89Is this just with 24s or 25s as well?
@@WolfTau 2024 only ...so far.
All the new trucks and cars are garbage. I bought a 1998 Dodge Ram new and the only issues were related to body parts adjustment. It was assembled in Mexico probably like yours. Nothing but drunks and drugs in Mexico. I had a leaky brake light and being that my Ram was one of the verry first quad cabs that came out for the 98 model and I bought it in Oct 1997. In the 20 years I owned it, not one engine or transmission problem or recall. Too much electronic unnecessary crap being put in trucks, No offense but your Chevy looks like a video game on the dash. WTF happened to good old basic trucks with 4 speed transmissions and no fkn turbos to fk up trucks. Guys want sissy trucks to go to Home Nightmare and Lowes to look studly pulling into a parking spot to pick up a plant for the old lady. I bet you won't take that truck off roading and use it like it's supposed to. No one would take an overpriced truck like that anywhere far from a repair shop. My truck had a manual transfer case and a 360 aka 5.9 engine. 20 years and no transmission or engine problems. My 2005 Magnum has had a few minor problems but the hemi engine and 5 speed transmission are rock solid.
Mine was made in Indiana. I bought my 2012 Ram crew with 4WD and the next day off roaded it. All scratched up and covered with mud. They don't stay new forever no matter how you treat it.
Impressively produced!🙌🙌🙌
Thanks for watching. They did fit great. Like I said, the pictures speak for themselves. All I did was show what you are getting.
I pulled my camper 2 hours away with my 2 day old Silverado. I used the accessory to put up the wi dows and rurned it off when done. Next day my truck was dead. Thank goodness for your video! I had called 2 chevy service dealers, on star too. They sent a jump out but he would not disconnect the battery. Took a day to fi d someone with a tool to disconnect that bladted battery. But of course it was the fix. Both service guys I talked to had no idea what was wrong. One place said it would be a week hefore he fould look at it.
Do what I do now. Keep a small crescent wrench in the glove box. It could end up being a life saver. It will be the best $10 you ever spent.
I have been researching not wanting to pay $250 for weather tech. I think these will do the job!!!! I just ordered them!!!! Woot woot!!!
Nice. Wife loves them. We retired the factory liners to the garage. The Triplealiners were just better. I am glad the video helped. One tip. Leave them out in the hot sun for a few hours or more and most of the creases from shipping will disappear. That's what we did the day before we installed. ps. we have family in Kezar Falls/Parsonsfield.
ty for review. Do these have any kind of smell when they in the car for a while?
Actually I didn't notice any smell. Just asked my wife if she noticed any smell since installing and she said no also. She drives it every day so I guess she knows best. I have a set coming for my truck soon. I expect them to be the same.
Hey man, want to share my experience with a fleet of these trucks. Out of the 12 trucks, none of the batteries lasted more than 1 year. Many crapped out at 3 and most at 6 months. I've also setviced some buicks that throw "Service transmission" and "Service power steering system" warning messages on the dash. That particular one lasted 2 years and 22k miles. Tested battery was giving 200 amps put of the 750 or so it was rated for. Car always turned on just would randomly pop these messages. Something with these GM batteries.
Yikes. So it is a good idea to keep jumper cables under the back seat. Sad how bad some things are made these days. I don't doubt you.
We have jumper boxes that output 3000 amp peak. We use them for the trucks and for the heavier duty diesel equipment. I would suggest for you to carry a jump box with you. Much simpler to help yourself out and to help others out.
@@09jklful So I have to ask. Have you ever had the whole truck shut down until the battery is disconnected and reconnected? Like mine did? Service was not surprised but wouldn't say it was common.
@@AttommicDog None of these trucks had the digital display for the gauge cluster and they all use the key to start, no push start. But the common thing between all them was no crank. They turned on till the next day they didn't. No weak start or the quick tut tut tut sounds when the starter cant turn the engine. Before they quit all together, some trucks had weird electrical problems with the reverse camera. Sometimes not showing up or the grid lines wouldn't show. Reset language selections. Don't know if the key fob worked or not leading up to the battery replacement. All batteries were replaced with 1000 Amp odyssey batteries. No point in having them fail so quickly again. Though I will say for the couple of 2022 - 2024 Buicks I've seen, the dealer replaced the battery for free and last I've known they are still working fine.
Nice video!😄
Hhhh, you are funny
Funny!
Where is the Crosstrek floor liner's link?

Depending on the vehicle, prices are usually under $100. Like I said in the video, they are reasonably priced.
Nice video!
Glad you enjoyed it

Agreed. and I did. But didn't want to have it towed. All good in the end. No issues since.
@@AttommicDog good to hear. These gremlins always scare me too.
The dealer has to fix it. It's under warranty. They have no choice. They don't have a leg to stand on. If they give you any c*** Do not take no for an answer.
Failed update over the air. Gotta watch for that. It will freeze the system and even can kill the battery. Turn over air off on updates and use manual wifi.
The two theories are either the battery was already low when I took delivery or what you said. Thanks for the tip. Will look into that.
@AttommicDog anytime an update wants to install, turn truck off let it install at home, after 10 mins update should be done, go ahead and start truck up then and check the install successful on radio then turn off radio then the truck. It should be ok no probs ever if its installed that way. Never let it install auto or sit over night after install. Always start engine 10 mins after update.
To reset completely you need to take both ground and positive terminals off turn your headlights on to drain power from all of the modules gm has had a lot of ground problems from 14-23 🤦♂️

What was the issue
Disconnect both terminals from the battery. The truck’s computer controls everything electronic and mechanical. Codes most likely false. I think GM does this on purpose for service purposes $$$$
Yep disconnecting battery got me going. I was told all sorts of freaky codes can be thrown when there is a low/bad battery. Why it may have been low is a mystery, but that's what they are going with as no new codes thrown since I rebooted the system.
@@AttommicDog I purchased a 2021 Silverado custom 1500. The service department here is great at calling you for routine maintenance until your warranty expires. Then they start giving you the runaround. You think, “oh I’ll get a brand new vehicle then I won’t have to put so much money into it”. Smh. Things (goods and services) just aren’t the same anymore. On a good note, my truck is running like a top for now. Good luck with your my friend

Did you get your truck fixed yet?
@@benbrooks9679 lol. I just dropped it off 30 minutes ago. Will know soon enough...

Looks like a computer issue to me. Dealer should put a new computer in it to see if it resolves the issue. Don't let them say it's going to take weeks or months to get a new computer, tell them to take one out of another truck on their lot. They don't trouble shoot anything anymore they do what the computer tells them, swap parts is all they know. Well, swap the computer!!! You can add a battery isolator switch under the hood, simply click battery off when you park then on when you want to go somewhere, and your up and running until they get their act together.
They don't think so, but time will tell...
the service bulletin came out oct. 2023. When was your truck made? should be a date on sticker inside opening of drivers door. If your truck was made after 10/23, yours should have this BCM update in it. My truck was made in late Nov. 2023 and I never had this problem. But I do have the problem of the speedometer and the tach not "printing" on the dash when the screen is set for classic or progressive mode. Other visuals on dash work and display, just not speedometer or tach. This only seems to happen after truck has been sitting over nite and never happens when truck was ran less than 3 hours ago. I would suggest you keep a ratchet and 10mm socket in your glove box in case this happens when your not home. What was the reason for the "open and close window" alert? I get that at times as well. It might be from the battery disconnect, now that i think of it.
Good luck! You'll need it. Gm customer service is pathetic. Most dealers get screwed by corporate. My dad purchased a truck, brand new in 2003. The instrument cluster quit the first year. Gm said he would have to pay to get it fixed and reimbursed if it git recalled. All this was documented. 8 years later they recalled but my dad had "too many miles" even though it was documented as bad under the warranty period. My dad has family members that work for or retired from GM.. coworkers 2.7L turbo 1500 spent 6 weeks at the dealer waiting on a turbo. No rental. Another coworkers 5.3L dropped a lifter and got a short block at 15,000 miles. Different dealer, no rental.
I hope they get the issues resolved with your truck. It is understandably disheartening to just get a new truck and have issues pop up right away. These new vehicles are way too complicated with all of the computers in them.
if I buy these I will be sure be watching this again. One question. How much drilling did you have to do or were he holes already there in the rocker panels for the secondary brackets??
Didn't have to drill a single hole. Looks like they changed the style slightly to no longer have the plastic on the step. The grooves are cast into the board. Actually a good update IMHO. I am sad they stopped selling the brushed aluminum.
@@AttommicDog is this what they consider the 'wheel to wheel' version?
@@swmplvr Technically no. But darn close as you can see.
@@AttommicDog ok so it isn't labeled as wheel to wheel? which means it could be other than what they are calling wheel wheel is what I am trying to figure out. Thanks again.
Thank you for showing the new style front bracket on the driver side.I may get some of these.
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately this did not help with my 8TB Expansion Desk drives with about 1.3 TB free space still. During a 10GB file transfer, it initially showed a great speed, but then quickly dropped off early in the file transfer. I have 2 of these Expansion Desk drives (copies of the same data) and both have become very slow with transfer speeds at best hitting 40 - 60 MBps but fluctuating greatly during a 10 GB file transfer, even dropping to under 1 MBps multiple times during a single file transfer. I then tried the same file on the same USB port and a USB hub, but with a WD 8TB Easy Store with 2.8TB free and the transfer rate is a CONSISTENT 150 MBps (even without write caching which is why I keep it off given the risk - see caevat at the bottom) during the entire file transfer (same source file and source drive as the test with the 2 Seagate drives). The Seagate drives were good initially but despite still having 1.3 TB free, they have slowed dramatically. Ironically the same Seagate drive works fine for transferring files over the network using an nVIdia Shield TV pro 2019 connected to the network via ethernet. Caveat - Keep in mind that enabling 'write caching' does carry an inherent risk as noted in the drive's 'Policy' tab itself - If you lose power or accidentally remove the drive / drive cable without first using the 'Safely Remove Hardware and Media' option and waiting for Windows to confirm it is safe to remove the drive, you risk corrupting and losing the drive's data...
This thing is such a piece of shit
Wow. You had a bad one I guess. Mine is still working fine. It's starting to get a little old, but still working and the vinyl holding up perfect. Sorry you had problems.
SOLVED my problem but this was NOT the problem. I wish that this worked. :( I had it turned on and from the last time I used it a month ago and today I'm getting about 1MB/ 5 seconds write. The interface is pegged at 100% and is non-usable. I switched cables and ports. Being 3 weeks beyond the warranty hurts as this drive has a total of 41 hours of use as I use it solely for backup. How did I solve it? We, I ran defrag and noticed that I was getting 30MB read and write but still nothing was fixed. Fortunately I had a powered USB hub which I connected up to the PC and instant success. My 1 Year old ASUS ROG X570-E isn't putting out enough current on the USB ports any longer!! That is really sad to see this motherboard act this way after just one year. Other symptoms that the power supplied hub corrected were long start up time to connect the drive as well as the drive was running very hot. I just ordered a USB port tester to verify this issue with lower current or voltage. If this is correct than I'm not over with this problem. Besides, it will be nice to know this information and for $30 it's money well spent to diagnose these problems in the future.
Man I can't even open the properties window on the device manager! this thing is soooo SLOW!! unsable!
Good job. I picked up one yesterday and it's giving me trouble. I'll be sure to watch the vid you reccomended. I will not be beaten by this thing!
Thanks - this is still relevant today! Seeing 140MB/s reads on a 2.5" disk but only ~29MB/s writes. Make sure you safely eject people. In my case, I'm going to only enable write caching only during this importing period then will disable it again to be safe.
Thanks for letting your wife show the functionality. Been fighting with this part of the decision since my wife will be probably be driving it during hurricane evacuations. My job requires I stay in the area. Showing your wife 'using' the product helped alot. Also, since it's been about 3years since you made this vid, I'm just wondering if you can give an update as to how well the rubber 'pad' is holding up. Thanks again for the great video.
what can you do when front bracket holes are corroded and one of the bolts broke in hole
Best install Iboard video out there definitely going with the 6 inch thanks for sharing. I like that you got your wife to show how functional they are. Thank you both.
Those are brushed aluminum I got the brushed stainless steel and they are totally different looks similar untill you turn them over and the bottom is hollowed out and the frame is reinforced with 3 inner brackets then you mount bent c channel to the underside of truck then lineup brackets with c channel and tightened all bolts after you center everything youres is much simpler good vid
I have a bunch of 2.5" seagate expansion drives and backup plus drives. The backup plus drives with 3 year warranty used to be fine up until about 6 months ago and then they now all have started having poor performance which this fixes. I have no idea why all the cheaper standard expansion drives don't have the issue, and why it only all of sudden started to happen to the slim backup plus ones. Its the same for Windows 10, 8 and Windows Server.
I just bought this drive from Costco and thought the drive was faulty. The drive does not have a power adapter, it takes power from your computer. That said, I was using it on a USB 3.0 bus, non-powered. It failed copying large 4gb files. I thought the drive was dead, but then I remembered that if you plug the USB straight onto the desktop (not the USB hub), it seemed to work much more consistently. Low power might actually make it fail.
I had massive issues with the included usb cable. Been buying them (2.5" ones) to backup a server. I tested about 5 of them and they all resulted in issues on all the cables i tested.
Just got a Tonno Pro - Trifold cover for my 2019 Ram. Looks good, but anyone get a little bit of flapping on the highway? It quiet in the cab and don't hear anything, just a little distracting at first looking at the rear view mirror. Is this normal? It did come with foam seals to put at the bottom of the tailgate, but haven't put that on yet. Wonder if that is the issue and will help, or if this is normal then I just need to get used to it over time? By the way, is Tonno Pro and Tonno Max the same company.
Yes it does a little bit. has not caused any problems
My drive was fine before but now super slow out of nowhere and already had this which maybe got a little faster and already knowing why but does not solve my issue. I do have 1.7tb of fragments though and stuff compressed but simply moving from to to drive its slow both ways for me even with this. Windows 10 issue and or maybe drive enclosure.
Fragments should not make it super slow. The drive may be going bad, or the enclosure has issues (I have dealt with both). Smart money is on moving the data to another drive. Then test the bad drive. After moving/copying the data off I would download and run Western Digital Data lifeguard diagnostics on the drive.
AtomicDog yeah, my money is on the enclosure as what tests I did use using seagate software came back fine and crystal disk info said fine other then temp sometimes if laying in side. I have like 4 years worth of hours on it and sometimes before drive would disconnect recently but it hasn’t lately been disconnecting. I’ll check out that wd program too
@@njmaag The WD program is my go-to but I have had bad enclosures that never showed an issue but were bad. I just toss them and order another one. Drives also can report no issue but be bad. Honestly if they get twitchy best to try another enclosure, and if still an issue toss out.
