Thanks for the comment! Yes it is done automatically if you stop close enough to a docking station which has fuel - the starting docking station has coal fuel so that is what is fueling that truck. In the future we can also have a 'refueling' station in the middle of the roads when more advanced fuel :)

Thanks! It has steam workshop connection for modded campaign, maps, scenarios, battles but no multiplayer as far as I can see

@@GamerConsultant Thanks for the reply! For starters, Assigning vehicles to Lines is counterintuitive and unnecessarily convoluted - Should be as easy as Click Vehicle, Assign To Line. You HAVE TO be able to assign trucks manually to Lines since the AI is so lousy at it. It always seems to be a day late and a dollar short. It's part of the logistics management facet of the game, and certainly shouldn't be trusted to an AI as short-sighted as Wylie Coyote. Did not seem to be able to upgrade roads without demolishing them first. I understand time-compression in games, but should it really take 3 days for a traffic light to change? I can drive most of the way across the country in 3 days... Upgrading trucks on a Line. Again, goes to truck assignment to lines. Just a thought... I'd think using a simple all-land map for someone's initial game would have been a better choice for the demo, considering how fiendishly expensive bridges... were? I don't know, I didn't build any in the demo. In IG2 they were (rightly) VERY expensive. Who zones outside of a city? Is this the Soviet Union map? I really liked the IG2 sliding scale for agricultural suitability so you could tell where to put which farms and ranches for the most efficient production. They also had specific growing seasons for different crops which were clearly available on the info screen for that product. Beyond that, for farms and industrial buildings you were either too close to the town or you weren't. Penalties applied for building too close, but no actual restrictions. I had a hard time finding figures for Demands... seems like it was a simple "hover" mechanic on IG2, and it would indicate a range of demanded products - not one at a time. And I don't quite remember... were the demands listed for quarterly or annually? Both would be useful. Production cannot start during batch... What does that even mean? Silly me, I set up my first hardware store and set up to manufacture and sell planks, which was a Tier 1 product in IG2. When I checked to see why nothing was selling I discovered that the hardware store was only set up to sell WOOD SHAVINGS? What hardware store sells wood shavings? Those are intermediate manufacturing products (as I recall for making teddy bears?). Didn't help that the icons for planks and shavings are so similar. Did any of you ever play IG2? I mean, for longer than 20 minutes? I'm also sad that you discarded the whole Depot/Station/Storage model. It worked SO WELL... and didn't require delivering to individual shops, eliminating a layer of tedious micro-management. One thing Transport Fever 2 got right, but you obviously ignored. I will play through the demo again to see what else is either annoying or game-breaking (or, in all fairness, actually good). I wasn't looking for a Transport Fever clone; I was hoping (as I think most of us were) for more of an Industry Giant Redux, along the vein of Cossacks 3 being a re-work (and improvement) of the original Cossacks. I applied for the Alpha-testing group (I'm not sure how you picked them, but with literally thousands of hours on IG2 I thought I'd be a good fit, unless your actual idea was to just take advantage of the franchise name and junk the original model completely) and was disappointed not to be contacted. I'd thought you must have found more qualified people but obviously I was mistaken. It's too bad it's too late to fix most of this, as it would probably require a complete re-write form the ground up. If nothing else, you need to change the name out of respect for the original.

what do you mean - it says single player and multiplayer on the opening screen - it's just that multiplayer doesn't seem to be available in the demo

I will definitely build it all :) fixed number of slugs on the map but in v1.0, we can now make powershard in a factory without slugs (end game)

Anno 1800 was also given a lot of money from Germany's government and I still had tons of fun with it - I agree with you we need to be careful with that slippery slope but my 2 cents is to test it before deciding :)

The topic at hand though isn't really as controversial or offensive as what we've seen in some other games. It's actually quite good and promises more content.
