The Efergy E-Max is an amazing tool to monitor your electrical consumption. The Efergy E-Max has a wide variety of benefits to assist you to reduce your energy consumption.
i have this unit, it's worked fine for the last 2 years after dealing with some connection issues from the transmitter. i however had to play with the settings because it was rather innaccurate for power consumption here in the US. i have it wired to each leg of my 240volt home but the consumption was reading over twice the actual consumption, so i had to tell the controller it is a 120v house and scale back the correction to 50% and now it is somewhat close to accurate. for example the ~1000w microwave was signaling 1800w of usage. the air conditioner was claiming 6500w and the central heater grid was claiming ~12000 watts of usage. these are all over double of actual. was kind of comical to see the water heater turn on with the stove running and this thing spiking to nearly 30,000 watts(i only have a 150A service panel in a 40 year old mobile home, luckily it has all been rewired). i was thinking my house was about to burn down. i had to do a draw test of the most energy hungry device(the central heater) that draws about 5000watts in reality and not the read 12000watts to start correction factors.
same problem. nothing is accurate. everything is about 20% off.
Freedom Won E-tower batteries do not come with a 10year warranty, yes?
hello. i have solar geyser that's connected to Eskom as well and it is run all with Geyserwise. Question should i leave the geyser switch on (the geyserwise display on) and let in run like that or switch off the geyser switch and leave it running like that.
Dumb. Put in a small ATW heat pump and you make 3 or 4 times as much hot water with the same amount of solar. Even running the solar panels to an inverter and heating water with 240 volts will be equivalent to this dumb scam.
Does this work with TSE and TSE1? I see your controller in the video is the 3 digit TSE1 , I have a TSE?
Just installed my 16 kv today. The video has helped me to understand the system better
Where can I get it in Durban South Africa?
If you add a battery the solar panels can charge the battery to cut out electricity usage
Sales and pricing?
A lot of advice is irrelevant though about splitting items into crit and non crit . Most people would also have moved to a cheap EV rate at night so dishwasher, geyser or electric water systems will be running at very low price bands anyway from the grid at night.
Hi, is this system wifi enabled?
My 10kW inverter runs two 3.5kW geysers each, pool pump, heck all home appliances with 15kWh batteries and 8000W panels. As long as the sun is available the system is off grid.
How much did that cost to install?
All thanks tp you sir. I have cleared a number of confusion points
Contact us for cheap Deye invertet
where can i get this
What happened to teljoy solar in 2011?
What works out even cheaper than gas stove is to go for induction, I have a Bosch 4 place induction top and can use all 4 without my inverter having any trouble with them. Just get a magnetic base plate and you can use any pots with the induction top, it boils a full kettle of water in about 1min 40sec which is less than half the time gas or electric kettle could
well done and well presented
Interesting new concept however the newer indirect pumped systems seem to have overcome the issue of water boiling during hot days/low usage. I have had two of these systems, each one for 12 years and never had any issue with tube leaks. I fitted a Y strainer before the circulating pump and cleaned it regularly for reliable trouble free operation.
Good Day! Have you ever heard of the Shoals Plug and Play cables / system? Can anyone judge whether it makes sense to use it? Although they seem to be a bit more expensive, they are extremely easy to use and no professional installer is required. Installation is also said to be very quick and more energy efficient than conventional cables... Thank you!
Where to purchase the wifi retrofit?
Both systems make use of the sun's radiation i.e. reference to sun's heat is incorrect. It is just that the evacuated tubes use more of the spectrum of sun's radiation which makes it more efficient than the pv system. The tubes also have a built-in stagnation temperature which is a safety mechanism against run away tempertures. Evacuated tube system is cheaper, lower cost and simpler compared to pv system
Good day I have the 5000w axpert inverter, how many volts can I push in from the solar pannels as on the specifications sticker it states 145v max. But i need 220v to run day time load from the solar pannels.?
very well explained
Really bad idea to heat water on a gas stove very very inefficient and bad for the environment
Great viewing. I have the system installed however there is an disadvantage not discussed. During loadshedding the system does not work so i loose 2 to 4 hours of "solar time" to heat the water in the geyser.
Hi could you please provide me with your contact details, I would like to have this system but need some clarity before investing on it
please We have a three-phase elevator and we suffer from the switching time between the public network outage and the photovoltaic energy system, which makes the elevator panel see it as if there is a malfunction in the electrical supply and we need to do a reset to start working again. Don't you think that this type of inverter will solve the problem instead of the old inverters? Please I am waiting for your opinion
No. A much larger inverter such as the Victron Quatro or Sunsynk 3 Phase will be more suitable. Please ensure that you know exactly what the load is by installing an energy meter before making the decision on the inverter.
@@BidvestRenewableSolutions First thanks for reach out Second, we can say that the load can be classificated as small load its about 6 kW 3ph elevator wich need 9 amp. in full load from 0 to level 8 in the building . I think if we use 3 inverters 5kVA axpert king in parallel we will have suitable electrical feeding for the elevator with zero transfer time, especially we have 12 solar panel 550 and to lithium battery 300Ah/48Vdc also on paeallel with BMS connection between the batteries. What do u think bro? Thanks alot🌹🌹
"We bhave two lithium battery"
I'm concerned about the inrush current as well as the the fact that elevator motor will produce an induction load. A transformer based inverter seems to handle this kind of load better than switchgear based inverters. Please contact me directly at edward.rae@bidvestrenewables.co.za to discuss this further. @@daremshaalan9383
My 2 all in one inverters have two charge controllers each that can handle 4000 watts. I do not need a combiner box because each charge controller can handle two strings. No one makes a one string breaker box with a SPD so I would have had to buy four 2 string combiner boxes. Instead it was cheaper to get a 2 large breaker boxes and buy the individual breakers, fuse holders, and SPDs to make my own non-combiner boxes.
Where can you buy the module
Kindly help, I have efergy e2 device but it doesnt get recognised by the computer where can I download the elink drives
This is an amazing product
It's stupid to use photovoltaics to heat water when instead you could use passive solar water heaters and eliminate all the lossy middlemen.
No tim im doing this for years but on a manual basis. I have to switch off my solar heating before 11 12 to curb over heating.. im also going to go to automatic control the 2 systems
Thank you for sharing, because there's a lack of pace for panels on my roof, instead of 3 x 345w panels can I simply use 2 x 500w panels?
I have set up a schedule on the app but somehow the element still switches on outside of the scheduled times on the app. Is there a way to see why?
Any plans for a better software upgrade?
We are saved by Grace. He is a loving God. Thank you guys for making an amazing song and staying open with a thought provoking song like this
How much would this conversion cost ?
P r o m o S M 😻
Do you know who I can contact for conversation.
Please chat to one of the Voltex Branches.
The price is ridiculously excessive not worth it much cheaper ways
inwerter it's deye but Is rebranding hahahah
Great Video. Please do more very informative.
I hear doing a retrofit on a geyser isn't recommended because theres more risk of a geyser burst occurring? Because the solar panels can make the element burn hotter than recommended? How do you remove that risk?
This would apply if there were no thermostat. This product has a thermostat connected to the MPPT. When the water reaches the set temperature, The MPPT will not allow the power to go through to the element. I hope tis answers your question.
Thanks for this great video! Definitely going to buy 1
Absolutely amazing ❤
A sunsynk inverter is something you dont buy as it generates excessive RF interference.
Can thr App monitor KWH usage. As this will be beneficial in programing on and off.😊
Informative content, thanks
Excellent knowledge
Thanks for the video. What is your recommended supplier of this device?
Id recommend getting Astute cbi timer ,if you want to control temperature get a geyserwise original and astute wifi timer in the board
