Why pay for the new cartidge slot when you can simply cut or grind out the inside corner lock out tabs like I did at zero cost??
Because I would rather replace a full component instead of cutting an existing component to “make it work”. But whatever works for you, by all means.
@@d_rock856 Spending money on a part that is not normally visible instead of simply grinding the corners off with a dremel or cutting them out with wire cutters is certainly much more logical...

That doesn't make it region-free. You can only play Japanese games on a US console and vice versa. PAL game will not work with it. So it's "not region free"...
