I would start with her oldest stuff of you’re going on the Billie adventure! It’s amazing to see the journey and appreciate it. One of her first performances that sold me on Billie was her cover of “end of the world” that was on BBC1. Even as young as she was then, the way she can tell a story with her singing is one-of-a-kind.

I think Emily sounds amazing on the old songs. Obviously not the same as Chester but it's not like she can, she's a different person. And if one wants to argument that if she can't sound the same, she shouldn't sing them... I mean they are Linkin Park songs... She is now the vocalist of Linkin Park, they are perfectly in their right to do the old songs even if they sound different now. I think Emily adds a lot to the old songs, some have quite a different feel now and I mean that in a positive way. Everyone judges her performance based on her FIRST EVER Linkin Park performance, she has improved a lot since then. And I don't even think that the first performance was bad, I was already fully on board since that first performance, but you can tell she was nervous as hell during it. I think the only songs she struggled with during the first performance were Somewhere I Belong, The Catalyst, and Numb. I tihnk she did justice to everything else. (I'm not counting Waiting For The End because she got emotional during that song and cried a bit). And she definitely no longer struggles on any of those. To me she even elevated some of the older songs in a way that they are now some of favorite Linkin Park songs even though they weren't before. Nice reaction!

The guitarist is her older brother, Finneas. He is her producer from the very beginning and they co-write everything together. Just two of them. They were both homeschooled. Billie hates to record in the studio. Her first album “When we fall asleep, where do we go” they recorded in Finneas’ bedroom. 2nd and 3rd album in Finneas’ home studio. She mostly record with handheld mic, no booth. She is the youngest two times Oscar winner for “No time to die” James Bond and “What was I made for” Barbie. She has 9 Grammys. She’s gonna be 23 in about two weeks. Finneas also has 2 Oscars and 10 Grammys. They both very talented. They have synesthesia. Billie visuals all of the music videos or lights on tour and bringing it to life. In this song are beautiful adlibs and Billie wanted to show it. Finneas’ idea was to have 3 of her friends who makes music on their own as her background singers. Oh and Finneas worked with others artists like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ashe, Camila Cabello and more. He also makes music for himself. His newest album “For Cryin’ out loud!” is worth deep into.

I think I like her voice better without so much studio magic this was good.
