It's not the history; it's the candidate.

So those were different times and different circumstances. The VP's were unpopular or failed for different reasons or the state of the country at that time. Now we have Kamala Harris who has tremendous support of voters and financial support, and the polls say she will win. Plus you got a guy like Trump, what he is saying and doing and what he did while president, he was a giant failure. The difference is the one candidate was already president and a failure at that. There are many reasons Trump won't and shouldn't be president, but I won't get into that. It's way off base comparing then to now because things are drastically different.

So far only one president has managed to get back in the whitehouse after losing after his first term and that was way back in the 19th century.

I think the problem is. Trump is not a good candidate for the Republican Party. Because his policy appeals to a chunk of America but ran off some conservatives and also his more extreme compared to the last 20 years policy caused young people and people that don’t vote to vote. This is a race between two really weak candidates for president when it comes to perception. Trump’s cult like following causes some conservatives to either become more right or a little spooked and Kamala has tries to appeal to the moderates and the leftists at the same time. Doesn’t really work. So to me it can very well go either way.

Who gives a crap, what the history has been for VPs?? These are not "normal" times, and ridding the political hierarchy of Trump, should be the *only* goal of patriotic Americans, that support our Constitution.

Dang... haven't been there since 05 - 07 and downtown just looks sad now. Kerens used to be riddled with filth trickling down from Corsicana and now it just looks like a ghost town. Population of roughly 1400 people is crazy to hear...I ended up in Calhoun, GA and this place is giant compared to Kerens with a population of roughly 18,000...i never knew my home town was so small.
