Hi, thanks for watching. I personally use IBKR au, but as far as I know it doesn't matter which IBKR country account u have. What is the purpose for transferring MYR to SGD then to Citibank of IBKR? Was it to reduce fees? My example is Moo Moo Malaysia vs IBKR + wise. Where IBKR + wise gives a much convenient and faster way to receive funds on the platform. There is other methods to fund IBKR that might have slight lower fees, but I find this method is the most convenient and fastest with acceptable fees. For Malaysia ringgit at least. Do take note that currently they charge $1.13 per transaction to fund in IBKR from wise

Depends how big you're talking about. Using Wise we can do up to MYR 30k per transaction or per day. Hence, may need to do in multiple transactions if above this amount. Wise is regulated in Malaysia. But we have to take note there are some minor fees involved that is still lower than our normal banks. If you're worrying about taxes, capital gains tax for Malaysian is waived till 203X (iirc)

@@upshotliberation4234 It's definitely legal if its done legally. Investments can be declared in the LHDN right now, iirc when you submit your income tax, and there is no capital gains tax as of now. I don't see anything illegal as we are dealing with platforms that are regulated (Wise) etc. IBKR is regulated in several countries (SG,HK etc.) but yet Malaysia, hence we can only use Wise to transfer in funds and i don't see any problem with that right now.

I would say just add another to match. If its not enough only add it in the future. But for majority of the average users 16GB RAM is enough.

I wouldn't say it's the end as it still has its upside. If you already have an Aeon Bank account and if the difference is worth to you, you may consider. But if you are a person who still spends a lot using a debit card especially in overseas and do not have an AEON bank account yet, you might wanna consider to remain to reduce the hassle. Each has its own benefits

Boost Bank works similarly as GX bank, I did a video mentioning Boost and AEON bank as well. It's not too bad to park your emergency funds there as well. But we can't compare BB with KDI&Versa as these are MMF. that provides slightly higher returns but without PIDM

So take my opinion with a grain of salt :) For investments, I would suggest you to look into S&P 500 ETF. Versa Cash/ KDI Save good to park your emergency funds, but it shouldn't be the ones for investment as the best is to do it yourself to avoid all the 3rd party fees

In my opinion 2 hours is fine. Since you have ventilation as well it should be fine. However, try to lower the graphics settings etc. I would say not more than 4 hours shouldbbe great

Yes can, no fees charged by GX bank, but they might be third party charges from your overseas ATM, so you have to check that out. Exchange rate wise is slightly higher than wise (base on my experience) but lower than most commercial banks. So overall still acceptable

@@khaleel8776 mine has pretty much the same specs that his does in the video, it’s just newer since I recently bought my HP Victus. It had 2x4GB Samsung RAM cards, so I just went to buy 2x16GB Crucial RAM and replaced that and haven’t had any issues! Runs like a dream! 😊 Hope that helps!
