Thank you! I appreciate that. I had actually never heard of this game but found it in a local game store. It is more fun and strategic than I initially expected, we have really enjoying playing it.

HAHA! Thanks for getting the joke, I appreciate that! Yes, so we have played this once since unboxing. It was super fun. It's a co-op, which we enjoy, but plenty of strategy and lots of ways to go about accomplishing what you need to. I think this is one of the best strategies for co-op and how you keep people engaged. Ultimately, we all have different skills and like to do different things, so if you give us that opportunity with a co-op it increases the likelihood everyone will have fun. That's all to say, we had fun playing it, everyone loved the theme and it was a decent challenge!

Awesome! This is a super fun game and so different depending upon who you are playing with. Everyone has a different strategy. We find ourselves thinking, "Okay, person A is super strategic, what were they thinking?". We enjoy it!

HAHAHA! The thing is, years ago our game group was playing a legacy game and at one point it referred us to looking under the insert and sure enough, there were some things under there! I won't share what game or what was hiding there, but ever since then I can't help myself looking just in case!

Enclosure (the smaller box game) is a standalone game in the same universe as Biohack. but you can also use the components as a mini-expansion for Biohack as well

Yes, we did figure that out as well but have not yet played it. It is cool to see the miniatures in this small box as they do directly relate to the game! So cool!

I actually backed this on Kickstarter, and yes, it is very cute! It's a small publisher but it does look like there are a few places you can buy it still if you search.

Yes, that's how I got the expansion. I also did a video unboxing of the expansion on this channel. I usually keep the expansions separate so someone just looking for the expansion doesn't have to watch the base game as well as so someone just interested in the base game is not overwhelmed!

I'm glad mentioning the ease of dexterity and color blindness is helpful! As it turns out, you're right - the double sided dual-layered boards do actually sit just a small amount off of the table and you can tuck cards easily. I think it is actually the wheel/cogs that are unique to each player board and the snap that holds that together that props the board up, but it works well. We play on a table that has a shiny surface and I've often considered getting a playmat to see if it would make things like tucking cards easier. Then I think maybe it would be annoying that now nothing will slide. I would like to try a solution like that to see if it's helpful. Ultimately, I suspect it would be better with some games while less so with others.

Hi - These were part of the original Kickstarter campaign - it was a stretch goal where you got a second set of unique dog scoring markers in each of the 4 player colors.

This was the original game, I backed it in October of 2021. I just looked at the reprint on Gamefound and I believe they are pretty much the same. I did get the sleeves and metal grudges which you see in the video. If I was going to order differently, I would have gotten the acrylic standees - it would have made it easier to see the board.

Our first play was not super fun, what we learned was that it is challenging for both sides and our subsequent plays have been far closer and more fun. I hope you like it too - we have a player in our group who really likes the hidden movement games and for everyone else to play co-op is a nice change. Enjoy!

So far, the coop mode has kicked our butts! We have played 5-6 times and each time not been successful, but each play is very different so it stays interesting. Rolling dice for the dragons makes this part totally unpredictable, but you can count on there always being too many :) We are going to try playing competitive mode next time to see if it is easier to succeed.

It really is fun. It has bidding, color matching, set collection and unique user goals. It really has a lot in one box, we had a super fun time playing this game!

Thanks, we ended up cutting the expansion pieces as well because it makes this so much easier to track as you play. As much as we tried not to bump our player sheets, it still happens.

The planets in this game are really cool. I don't know why there are more planet spaces than planets -but an expansion is a good possibility! This is definitely not a horror game though the dark theme is nice! We had fun learning this game, our first big takeaway was we need to fight each other more or one person walks away with the game!

Doing the unboxings is a great way to first connect with the game, so much of the time I can't quite figure out how stuff works, but it is because I really haven't seen all the parts. This is truly the only way I can give honest feedback on everything inside, it HAS to be a surprise!

Agreed, the holographic cards are very cool - even better in person. The colors are also better in person, the board has really nice coloring and the magnetic bidding tokens and airships are such an amazing addition. They work really well when playing.

Cool! The pieces and storage tray really are AMAZING. This is a fun game - quick to learn so you can bring new people in without taking a ton of time explaining how it is played. Also, it's nice to have coop games sometimes too.

It's one of my favorites too, I always come back to it. I played the journalist and really liked it. I was surprised by how much was in this expansion!

HAHA, I didn't even think of trying to put the mechanic board together, but it turned out not to be difficult so yay!

Ah! Okay, I think there are a few pieces I do not have so that makes sense.

HAHA! Yes, I was a little worried the two games might be too similar, but they are different enough that I will definitely keep both!

Yes, it feels like a lot at first, but none of it is overly hard to learn - it's just that there are lots of simultaneous things going on. The nice thing is the player boards have dual-layered areas that really keep things in check.

This was more building, but also it's just a skill I'm not great at so don't judge based on how long it took me!

It's a really cute game with a neat theme. So far I am 0/3, but we have had fun playing it each time. It also has the added benefit of 8 quick rounds, so it's super portable and is easy to get people to agree to play!

It really is, it goes super fast so it is one of those games you find yourself coming back to often.

It is a pretty fun game with a decent amount of variables that can change up the game so it doesn't feel overly repetitive. I was surprised by how challenging the game gets over time, you really have to be strategic about how you place cards or you will create a situation that is nearly impossible to continue to succeed. I like this about the game, but something to keep in mind when considering your gaming group.

I'm glad you enjoyed the unboxing. I do try to look up the contents a little in advance, but if I haven't opened it, I haven't played it so much of it is a surprise to me too. Also, there's never a way to tell how nice the pieces are until they are in your hands so I try to cover the quality as well.

Yes, so the cards with the wheels are really great in person too. They are snug enough not to slip when you don't mean to change the score, but also fit well enough to easily be moved. So far we are super happy with the way these work.

We have not yet. So far we have played several times with 3 players each time. I can say even with 3 players there is a great natural tension created with moving between the boards and trying to play on the best spots because you choose your next location in order from left to right. Also, if a couple people play somewhere and block Sandra, she can end up on your board unexpectedly. Hope that helps!

This is a pretty fun game to play, we have been enjoying it. So it turns out the extra boards are not extra, they are there for creating the dual-layered boards. I just didn't realize this until after I finished the original unboxing video.

The dual layer boards are nice… I did delicately spot super glue to make more uniform and sturdy. Little bit of DIY to finish off… the two fasteners not enough to keep bottoms and edges flush.

Good question. We honestly have not had any issues with the tokens, but we play this game probably about once per month. We also have both expansions and I ordered the extra tokens for the Herb Witches expansion. So, we have so many tokens LOL. I do store them in game trays so they are not rubbing against other items - just the same types of tokens. I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but wanted to mention it. I have never really noticed feeling the graphics, so possibly there are different types of these upgraded tokens?
