I struggle to forgive my older sisters for things done. They are repeat offenders and continue to offend. I need prayer. I need to pity them instead of having anger. Please LORD, give me the gift of forgiveness that I may forgive my sisters. Please cleanse my heart of all things that are not from you. Thank you! In the name of Jesus, amen.

I read the bait of Satan, and it was a great read. I have a book recommendation. It's called " Precious Remedies Against Satan's Devices." This is an old book thats still in publication.

You say that 'Jesus is the creator and sustainer'. @15:40. So how do you conform this claim with Heb 1:2 ? This is one of many texts that state that the Father creates___ [ DIA - Greek ] by/ through___ his Son. So yes...Christ was involved in creation of all things. Although to be accurate__ The creation was executed > through < the Son by our heavenly Father...of whom is the sustainer. Please do collate this text with 1 Cor 8:6. 'Of whom are all things'. Father. 'By whom are all things.' Son. The explanation of Paul is quite elucidating...yes?

Amen...sound principles that would keep one on the strait and narrow. As long as one adheres to these texts in obedience to God and his law.

We know that Satan knows that he only has a short time and so more and more calamities occur. We must be in the word daily to understand what is going on in the world. It will tell us. Also do not make decisions based on emotions. You must set your emotions aside just as our savior did and make decisions based on the word of God, based on truth.

I struggle with forgiving my parents and grandmother, not because they were abusive (they were not) but because of, well, stupidity. They are all gone now, but the anger is still there. Parents, don't hesitate to apologize to your children when you are genuinely in the wrong.

Thank you! Gods perfect timing. Been studying forgiveness, rather God keeps putting the lessons before me. I did not realize the trauma Ive held on to and how it has damaged my health. Stress over a particular relationship causing too much bitterness, anger and something rage. Like you said, blocking true blessings and hearing the Lord. I am going to take this very important step. Only the Father can draw mankind to salvation (John 6:44): Whether they like it or not, God the Father is above ALL, including Jesus (John 14:28, John 10:29). God is the only one to determine who is worthy to be drawn to His Son for salvation; yet most of the world will call the Son God instead of the Father. The Spirit that Jesus shares with his Father _belongs to the Father ALONE,_ and it is the Father who controls all things. Salvation is not possible without the Father (John 6:65). Those who continue to deny God the Father, and Jesus Christ will deal with the wrath to come (Revelation 22:18-19, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9, Matthew 8:12, Matthew 7:23).

I love Dr. Stanley's preaching--really solid, Bible-based. Another pastor who passed that I really like and is a lot like Dr. Stanley is Adrian Rogers. I really like him. He always says, "look to Jesus." He passed awhile back, but his preaching is timeless just like Dr. Stanley's. Thanks for this rec. I am going to try to get this Bible.
