We are about travel in the USA & Canada with our caravan, exploring interesting places sometimes using drone footage. We will also be traveling the beautiful English canal system on a Narrowboat! Our channel will also include British classic car restoration and trips around Canada in our restored cars.

Magnificent!
Absolutely wonderful result and worth the 6 1/2 years wait for completion.
Great effort indeed . But purchasing a spot welder would have saved you many hours work .
I rode with.my dad in one of these at about the age of 3 or 4. I sat in my dad's lap as we bounced up a minor hill to a somber retirement for the day. These cars still seem to thrill me even standing still. Yours is an exquisite doll. I can't imagine the headaches an toil she's put you through. Hope your able to show her at concourse. A very beautiful example. I am almost drooling. The women must be chasing you everywhere. That's the best plumb shading I've seen on an automobile. The tan leather goes well against the dark cherry paint. Thank you for sharing the pictures. Most greatful! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing, I'm considering taking my drone there looks a nice place to fly. 👍
My eyes never tire when they gaze upon such an icon of our motor industry. Beautiful example,
Phenomenal commitment to excellence, the color combo sings one of the very best I've seen!!
Amazing work and hats off to you for the dedication it took to tackle such a huge project. Can you please share the paint brand and paint code you used? Opalescent maroon is just so difficult to get right!
Yes, I can certainly check that for you. I’m away at the minute, will message you when I return home
The paint code is as follows:- PPG 925934
Awesome- be very proud!
What a beautiful video. I really enjoyed that. So satisfying. You certainly have great skills.
Whilst the music wasn't too annoying, I would have loved some form of commentary
wow this is in between restoring a car and a restoring an aircraft. the difference between 0:37 and 8:50 is insane. The oily version it looked rough and plain, now it looks like a 2024 drag car someone just built using the latest designs. I never realised they were really a stout work of art.. very nice!
You must be so proud of your achievement. Stunning just doesn't do it justice.
that took 21 years ?
No. 6 1/2 years!!
I wonder did it look that good when it came out of the show room?
How many hours in the restoration...thank you. Car is stunning...
Solche Schönheiten müssen erhalten bleiben. 🤩
What a beauty! Wonderful job! Worth what you ask for it.
Same engine block as the massey furgeson T20 tractor 😅😅
...I've been driving mine for near 55 years until recently my health issues/eyesight have prevented me....Thanks for the nice drive, I appreciate it greatly.....John , TS44954 L , (west coast, Can.)
Maybe you can have a friend take you for a drive in it every now and then.
Very very very good job. 0 error in the autenticity of the restoration. Bravo sir great job
Einzigartige Perfektion Hochachtung !!!
Great set up you have in River John and the video was great as well. BB
stunning colour ! drop dead beautiful car enzo was right !
👍👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋😍😍
Just think, back in the Good Old Days you could get an E-Type for a couple of thousand quid that would do 150 mph and a guaranteed leg-opener as well.
Wow, awesome video. Stunning car. Love the colors.
Unbelievable Talent! WOW! ❤
What a beautiful car. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
a beautiful restoration and craftsmanship
have restored 5 E Types, it is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, in the same class as the Gull wing
The way this was done and the tools used, I would say you are an aircraft engineer, possibly RR trained
Top job, Congratulations!
This car is beautiful. Thanks for sharing the process of restoration with us. That's a helluva lot of work. But a stupendous result.
Do you use flux when lead loading? Surely acid is not good for steel.
Thanks for your comment. Following lead loading all flux is neutralized with baking soda.
Series 1,so nice.😎
Stunning
An incredible job. Done to perfection. Well done.
Well done sir! 👍
Wow, great job! How many hours in those 6 1/2 years and would you do it again?
As is said, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." , or as a friend of mine put it when he first saw it, "Bloody-'ell that's nice."
Six and a half years? Well done! That is a little more than it took me to finish my bachelor's and master's degrees! 🙂 You now have a PhD in Jag.
An inspiration to anyone who wants to undertake such a monumental and challenging task, congratulations!
Thank you so much for sharing this rebuilding of a legend in the automobile world, bring back to life from a position of no return is special. The cost is irrelevant, I hope you will drive this star of the car world and not wrap up for a museum.
Nice work dude!! I used to get advice from a wise old etype fabricator - he always said drill holes in the door bottoms & wax oil everything!! 😅 boy he was so right 😢
The E type is the most beautiful car ever built. Thanks for charing.
I bought my 63 E-type roadster in 1975 for $900. It had been gone through mechanically but then wrecked and abandoned. I did the bodywork myself, painted it in my mom’s driveway. Had the seats professionally done but did the other interior panels with moms help. It was far from a “restoration”, but looked good and ran great. I think I had about $4k in it when I was done. Drove it my junior and senior years of college. Graduated in 78, and traded it for a used Ford van and enough $ to pay off my student loans.
Sorry to hear that... LOL!
As an experienced e-type restorer, I wonder why you nickel plated the parts. Cadmium is correct.
Front suspension was originally nickel plated. Some other smaller parts were cad plate
I've never been a fan of the 6-cyl. E-Type, but this is a fantastic job, I may just change my mind. 👍
Labour of love - having done my 1966 coupe I feel the pain and determination to complete. Great job! 😎
