To be clear, the Above Phone remains a smartphone - so for someone who self-describes as "electro-sensitive- extreme-" I would use this phone with a wired connection at all times, pre-download all your content on it, and never put it out of airplane mode. The Above phone is not a "lower-EMFs" phone, but a phone that respects privacy and where you have full control over what information is shared with 3rd parties

Mag refers to AC Magnetic fieds, at 50-60 Hz. These should be under 0.3 mG (milligauss) at night where you sleep, and ideally below 0.5 mG everywhere else. If the fiber optics cable creates elevated magnetic fields, that could be an issue, but only if these fields stay elevated in areas where you actually spend time

@@User.k3431 magnetic fields cannot be shielded, except with extremely expensive materials such as Mu-Metal. The only way to avoid those magnetic fields is to move away from the source. Measuring right next to the source is not necessarily the way to go - instead, measure the exposure where you spend a lot of time. If that fiber optics wire still creates elevated magnetic fields near your computer chair, pillow, or favorite sofa... then you have a magnetic field problem to figure out

My large JVC tv with all the bluetooth turned off has no EMFs (though I haven't tested it continuously) and the exact same tv in the smaller size has EMFs even though it is all turned off on the settings. Weird. Still need my husband to take it apart and disable the bluetooth someday, though it's not too bad at the distance i watch it from.

@@CastieauSt it depends on the signal strength on your phone, where you are situated vis a vis the cell phone tower, and a bunch of other factors. If I were off the grid and had only access to a cell tower, I'd get a cellular network router, and then make sure that all my devices are connected via Ethernet, not wifi. I'd shield the router to make sure it emits very little signal towards my home, too

@@TheEMFGuy I use an external antenna and router combined , so the sim goes outside with a powered LAN5e so I can pull out the ethernet cable out of the power block indoors when I want to go outside and not get hurt. The antenna/router is around 50 ft away.

The satellites are in low earth orbit at an altitude of about 550 kms. When you factor in inverse square law, there's a considerable reduction in signal intensity, by the time the RF signal reaches the ground.

Brian confirmed that there is a blind spot where things are very hard to measure (except with meters worth thousands and thousands of dollars) -- between 10-11GHz up to 24 GHz. A few years ago he had such a meter for a short period of time and did not see an increase... but he agreed that we urgently need more recent readings. Even if the signals were "very low" compared to ambient levels of EMF pollution in cities, we would of course be better off without them. None of these exposures are safe

@@carpenoctem3431 The blind spot is just a consequence of the limitations of readily available (and fairly affordable) EMF meters on the market. The best meters to measure wireless usually stop measuring at around 10 GHZ. Meters developed to read 5G usually start at around 20-24 GHz. The very cheap meters from Amazon usually measure magnetic fields, not wireless. I recommend getting a basic, but high quality meter instead like the Cemprotec 33, Trifield TF2, etc

Starlink beams down a very powerful signal to an area, but by the time the signal reaches the ground the intensity goes way down. We don't have good recent measurements about the intensity of the signals. Even if they were "very low", we know these exposures are unsafe (since there is no known safe level of EMFs). All that being said, we're trying to help people figure out what to do in remote areas, if they need an internet signal and do not have access to any broadband, fiber, or landline. Starlink with a wired Ethernet setup might not be the worst choice... even though the company is absolutely reckless to have rolled out the satellites in the first place.

@@elsW123 I agree with you. The best of both worlds would be to force Telecoms to roll out fiber to every single home in the nation. Telecoms essentially "stole" (redirecte) billions in federal grants and used fiber to connect their cell towers instead of connecting every home.

France aims for ~99% mobile coverage I think, I don't know whether that is representative of all Western 'democracies', or what my native Britain or Italy are doing (except that I do/did know that 5G was basically precluded in Italy by its slightly lower environmental radiation cap... I don't know how things are unfolding there now)... Fibre is being rolled out here very cheaply as well, although I think will cease to be government subsidised within the next few years.

@@TheEMFGuy You would think it couldm't get much worse , I was getting hurt by the tap water with EMR symptoms and then found out they are running trials to also send wifi through the mains water supplies. They could have used safe frequencies , even healing frequencies to run all these systems.

@@skripnigor ouch indeed. Towers that are line of sight can be the worse, especially when at a short distance. It's hard to tell how much one tower increases your individual exposure at home unless you can test with EMF meters - ideally with the help of a certified Building Biologist

That's because exposures near cell towers can go over the super permissive, broken FCC guidelines. But your point is 100% valid. The reality is that people who live right next to cell towers are exposed hours every day to extremely unsafe levels of radiofrequency radiation.

He's talking about EMF-blocking paint which is usually made out of carbon. A popular product is YShield. The paint should only be applied with the help of a building biologist or EMF mitigation specialist -- there are many ways everyday people get it wrong and end up wasting thousands of dollars.

More chronic disease on many levels, and the indications we have that EMFs is contributing to this burden are even more concerning than 7-8 years ago.

I work with young people at a community college--they are all depressed and mentally unstable. Most of them at least. They write depressing papers and have chronic health issues. It's getting so bad I am forcing them to write papers about health and will sneak in an EMF/radiation lesson

The black is because of carbon added to the paint as a conductive medium. Typical shielding materials need to be conductive in order to have the electrical properties to both reflect radiofrequency and ground the voltage buildup that occurs from being bombarded by said radiofrequency to avoid retransmission. White paints usually use Titanium Oxide as a pigment and in it's pure form is an insulator. So it doesn't work well for shielding applications. Now AegisGuard on the other hand is a very different animal in that it's mechanics are of an RF scattering model, light colored and doesn't require grounding due to it's non-conductive nature.

So I can *feel* from the very scary way that my brain shuts down that it's being deprived of oxygen, and with this video and a little more digging after your summit, I suddenly have a new way of explaining it and a load more things to do about it: nasal breathing, humming, nasal breathing, yoga, nasal breathing, flavanoids, nasal breathing, anti-oxidants, nasal breathing, herbs, nasal breathing, aromatherapy, nasal breathing, NO2 exercises (squats, arm circles, sky pushes, marches)... even an aspirin against platelet aggregation when I can't avoid going out (or better, meadowsweet tea)... a load of foods whose specific importance I previously underestimated (including a glass of live red a night, an indulgence I had never permitted myself, and raw chocolate)... this is GOOD NEWS that you and Beth bring! It feels like the missing piece in my understanding of it (though I'm sure there are many more missing pieces in my understanding of it, but I feel I'm getting a surer understanding than any health practitioner I've yet met, and some measures that actually work). What to do is very much dependent on what type of emf source you are attempting to mitigate. Radiofrequency is the easiest to address followed by electrical fields and magnetic fields being the most difficult. Of all types, distance and avoidance should be the primary means first followed by a shielding type relevant for the source emission. As far as nutrition is concerned, simply say source whole, organic, nutrient dense foods and trace minerals. Buying from small local farms as much as possible. Iodine, boron, zinc and magnesium are the heavy hitters but everything has a role to play. Get outside so you can get the red and IR wavelengths for ATP production. Exercise so your lymphatic system gets those fluids moving. Heavy metals detox will be big, if levels are too high chelation therapy might be needed. Avoiding grains lowers inflammatory load and things like rice in a lot of areas have high levels of arsenic. There's alot when it comes to building resilience and this isn't even getting into working with energy such as biofield tuning, etc. But all of it works synergistically.

A shielded bedroom can be created by different EMF mitigation strategies -- usually it's either a sort of EMF-blocking canopy which goes over the bed, or EMF-blocking paint applied to all 4 walls + ceiling + an underfloor membrane.
