Correction... at the fledgling stage they can be offered water, but DO NOT force it down their throats, leave them alone with it or force them to drink as it can drown them. You can also try and get them to pick up their own food. Dont give nestling (few feathers, still completely dependent) water...they are too young and should get it from your dampened dog or cat food

In the beginning how did you get it comfortable enough with you that it would take the food without being force fed?

I'm still relatively new to sewing, but just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your video! I haven't seen anyone do that tailor stitch before (or at least not as far as I can remember) and I loved the close-up shot for the invisible stitch, people don't always show those and it made it very clear (Also love your sewing machine)
