Bike Registration and Bike Name Reveal
How much air ?
I have a Ktm 690 enduro r and don’t get off-road much. I got “tired” of replacing the rear tire every 2000 miles so I put a set of Dunlop missions on. They were really slippery when first mounted up but after they got scrubbed in they were great. Much smoother on the road and when I hit 2000 miles they still looked nearly new. I can’t imagine how many miles I will get outta this set but I’m already way past any knobby tire I’ve had. I just had to be honest about the type of riding I do most and get a set of tires that fit better. For me the Dunlop trailmax missions are a better option
I know of riders who get over 10,000 miles on a set of Dunlop Missions. They will be my next set of tires once the originals on my Honda Transalp XL750 wear out.
I've been filming for a while on my Hero 10 and never had a problem until two days ago. The audio randomly cut out for 2 minutes and then just cut back on. Weird but at least it has worked 99% of the time. It is very frustrating though.
Where was this video recorded?
Kansas. Near Paola.
Even though your content was deleted, you still provided some good insight. I delete video content more than I should, but I delete quite a bit of content. Of the once in a while video I put out, I probably delete four or five before I post one. You mentioned GoPro's and the issues they have, but I have not had any issues at all with my GoPro Hero 3. I guess just because a product has a newer version, does it mean they are actually better? Maybe one day I will upgrade, but why upgrade, if it is not broken? Take care, ride safe.
Yep a bunch of people have had issues since GoPro 7
@@spazonwheels When this GoPro3 does die, I may get an Akaso action camera. It is fairly low priced, and has stabilization, which is a plus compared to my current camera.
Stay safe
Always.
nice bike leds are an ez fix
Yep I'll take care of those probably in the next week or so. I also am debating longer term an LP6 headlight too.
worst tire review or impression ever
I can agree but I also never really road off road in my life. Much better than stock for gravel roads at least.
did you have any problems with a slight vibration in the handle bars when riding at highway speeds? I found that after about 100 miles or so the vibration would make my hands numb. Thanks.
I did not have any issues with vibration.
Keep Grinding big guy...
Back to trying to grind.
They are selling in Europe 150/70 R18 and 90/90 R21 for 280 and 180 euros..... so it´s a no go!
Instead of buying new boots to accommodate your diabetic feet, you should consider curing your diabetes with diet. If your doctors tell you can't, it's time for a new doctor. I'm on the Carnivore Facebbok Group and people are curing their diabetes all the time. This includes Type 1 and Type 2.
Interestingly I've just started Carnivore diet. I'm down 25 lbs It is helping.
dr's will just keep you on meds.
i test rode challenger base model can not fully floor it am 5/8 those bars how comfy they are did you had to pull em back at all will be getting challenger base model hopefully by mid summer
My bars are all the way forward.
I guess I'd be looking at a Pan America if I were you
bro!yeah-great ! catch you laetr! ;)
Because most do not go off road Starbucks cruiser!
You gonna get hurt with Trailmax mission off road. Improved surfaces ok just take it slow. Gravel like riding on marbles. Motoz ADV is a big improvement. I am running Trailmax Mission on MGV85TT now great street and dirt tire. Gravel / Sand not so good.
I like your camber if its a camper
Wow, first off - sorry for your loss. Second, DAMN, y'all got lucky you weren't more busted up! Glad you "walked" away from it... even with a couple of broken bones. As for your content - do what makes you happy. Like you said, it's a hobby, a fun thing to do, so make sure you have as much fun as possible :D Good luck with the RV life - it sounds like a ton of fun, wish I could do it too! Cute grandkid, Grandpa Spaz! Oh, and RIDE SAFE! :D
Love it man!
Personally I feel these are just overpriced shinko 705 tires. I haven’t actually ridden the dunlops yet, but the weight and hard compound is similar, and I can’t see how the tread pattern would be much better off road. I feel like they’d be slightly better than the shinkos in most ways, but not worth double the money imo.
I've had both. The 705s last half as long but grip reliably on cold wet pavement. Neither are great on gravel, 804/805s served me well for unpaved forest service. Trailmax missions are long lasting and great for dry riding. *one guys opinion
Trailmax will triple tire life on DR 650 compared to 705. Excellent fire road gravel road tire and no pavement issues. Road to edges on Dragon and area. No issues
That's my next tire!!
They put street tires on there because of the weight their lighter typically so they can claim a lower dry and wet weight for the spec sheet. It's why when you do see an offer in tire it is often a TKC80 or metzeller karoo 3 or pirelli's scorpion STR. They are some of the lightest off road tires.
Did you find that you feel more vibration with these tires on the street? I put a set on my 2021 atas and at 110 kph the vibration increased to where I thought maybe the balance was out.(checked and it’s good).
After they broke in they felt fine. A little bit of a rumble mostly noticed at slow speeds. I ride highways at 128 kph.
Balanced these myself after the shop and found the shop balance was very wrong. Used these tires on the Idaho BDR and did not like them at all. Not aggressive enough.
What do you think between this and Continental TKC 70 ? Do you (or friend of yours) have experience on the "Continental TKC 70" ?
It really comes down to how much off road you do. If you are primarily on the road and are not very aggressive off road they are great for you. If you are aggressive off-road you probably need a more knobby tire.
@@spazonwheels more road, less dirt Here in Greece we have a lot of beaches at the end of the road, that the moto has to go through short distance roads but with sharp rocks ! So i need one that will go very good on the road but won't tear apart on the sharp rocks when I'll try to go to the beach (Thanks for the feedback)
Not ipesed very hard compound👎
Thanks for that first of information about the fuel tank when removing it. I was wondering the same thing. I have a DH 21 as well
Love the sound...
Awesome sound..
Would have like to see some actual off road testing vs just straight line on gravel.
I'll get there still learning this offroad thing. Still new to it.
Looks Indian bikes lead the pack now..!
Nice sound
....
Nice tour of Kansas, a state that I haven't been in yet. Do those tires whine much on pavement? It didn't sound like it from the video.
Not at all. They get wobbly at high speed but way past speed limits only.
Ran my first set almost 10k on my T Rally Pro 50-50 riding in Colorado. I'll never use anything else on it. Gravel, jeep trails, freeway, baby heads, sand. If you are riding a rally Pro you do not need to switch modes every time you stop. Start the bike push mode and the check mark off you go in off-road mode again
Not too much noise on pavement? I'd like to try them on a VFR1200X.
is beter annake???
haven't road with Annake yet.
@@spazonwheels rode ffs
The road goes straight ahead for 25 miles, and you're afraid to sit down? Why should I take tyre advice from you? I sit comfortably, with a big grin on my face, through 80mph turns in roads like these dude...
Agree. Those are highways where I live. If you have a tube channel... Instant off road expert reviewer it seems these days.
Everything I've read about the cat delete is that it doesn't give any performance increases. Just makes your exhaust louder than it was.
Correct. Back pressure issue with this bike.
I have this one on my triumph street scrambler and I, m very happy!!!
Try Altberg bike boots made in Richmond Uk. They will make boots to order, mail order. Even make each boot a different size and widths.
Thanks for the suggestion. I ended up finding a pair of Alpinestars that fit which was a bit shocking to me. I'll keep them in mind. Still need some other daily drivers.
Vintage look & history applies mostly to 50+ year olds who are aging out of riding. It's a vocal minority who is SUPER unlikely to aver buy another new bike yet Harley and Indian pay far too much attention to them.
I watched this the day it came out and I was like "These people are assholes"
I couldn't look past it. So hilarious what marketing companies do.
To think I was wanting to get a 18' toy hauler to live in.
The 33' is alright but when you confine two kids, two dogs, and a couple I don't think it is enough space. Especially when I need a place to work.
@@spazonwheels Ah, big difference. Just me one dog and a motorcycle was my reasoning for an 18'.
Glad to hear your back! But taking time off is never bad. Family is the most important thing. I would take the tiger hands down and I’m on a road glide! Can always borrow the wife’s bike and go for a cruise. Safe travels!
If I'm lucky one of the campers has a 15' Garage I may be able to sneak a 3rd bike.
@@spazonwheels well that would be amazing! Then you don’t have to choose
Takings breaks are needed. If you ride your motorcycle to work, record your daily ride to or from work. I can not help you choose which bike you should keep, that is a decision that you need to make.
The unfortunate thing of being a remote worker I have to take breaks and get out or ride on the weekends. I may have found a way to take three bikes!!!!!
Bought my first Indian last week, challenger limited, very happy with it fantastic machine.
Just got a chance to ride the challenger.loved how smooth it was. It did however need tuning, exhaust air cleaner. Same as my Harley did. Overall I really liked it
Nice. I just picked up my Challenger Limited today. My Bam sticks and Zombies are on order. Getting the Stage 1 Intake from Indian next week. Which brings me to my questions. Did you have the Stage 1 intake installed and have the tune done with those slip on's for this video?
Sorry for the delay on response. I did not do Stage 1. I'd rather have K&N filter to improve air flow. I hear a lot of people saying Stage 1 really does nothing.
@@spazonwheels Yeah, I've had the K&N filter on order for what seems like a couple months now. Not sure what is taking so long. I have since, went to New Braunfels when Lloyd's Garage was there and ended up getting their secret sauce tune. Amazing ride now for sure. Way different bike now.
Should’ve went with the 2-1-2 cat delete.
Why do you say that? I like the sound so far.
Oh wait... I just installed 2-1 cat delete...
Wait for the loydz cams.
