I did it in the month of February or March 2024, do carry water to stay hydrated at all times apart from a good condition vehicle. Roads are pretty good, major parts are 6 lanes, some patches of bad roads you will get. One special note, there are no hotels to stay overnight in Andhra Pradesh on the highway so take precaution if you want to spend the night in Andhra take the cut from the highway towards any major town. @ thanks for the suggestion. Hotel is something I am worried about, any suggestions? I’m planning ride early in the morning from Chennai and stay overnight in Visakhapatnam

You can try, the roads are good and weather will depend on the time of your visit. Hydration is a must with a good vehicle

Certainly. However, it's recommended to take light weight motor bikes and to go in a group of minimum 3-4 riders as the trail is really daunting at places.
