It's Alive!!!
First movements of my desktop cnc machine. It was a long way but it's always rewarding when work pays out.

Anti Backlash Software - Backlash Compensation
Переглядів 635Рік тому
I have made a script to handle backlash on my Proxxon MF70. It applies to all machines that have som backlash or play on the driving screws. It ads small movements, like an operator would do, to compensate the mechanical backlash. More Info: nk@kofex.net Music by Bensound.com License code: UV3SC2CPFGQ95DYL
Simple bCNC and LibreCAD Programming Tutorial
Переглядів 706Рік тому
In this video with bad sound (sorry for that) you can see how i program a simple part for Alain :-) - he is the designer of the part. It is programmed on bCNC 0.9.14 and the drawing was created with LibreCAD. These two programs come with my CNC-Controller for machines with stepper motors : kofex.net/model-display-en/ Tags: CNC, G-Code, programming tutorial, Simple G-Code, Easy G-Code, G-Code fo...

I can definitely recommend to buy this controller. It is neatly made any very easy to operate. Also, the manufacturer's support is great.
Very usefull video. Looking forward to produce my own nice parts;-)
This is a brilliant little piece of software! Do you think it'd work for a CoreXY machine, or would the compensation be in the wrong place?
Hi, check your Mail!
How did you do that probing?
The red and black cable are connected to the controller. When the electric resistance between them gets low (they touch) and a signal is generated. Google grbl probing www.instructables.com/Setup-a-Touch-Probe-With-a-Arduino-Cbc-Shield-and-/
@@kofex3495 and you think why did Proxxon use NEMA 23 instead of NEMA 17 in the original CNC version?
@@hypertool35 in the MF70 they did not
If u really gonna CNC with it, u gotta close up that rails
Cool !! It looks a bit like an I3 3D printer, does it double as one ?
where can I get this software?
The program runs on the controller i produce: www.kofex.net/2023/10/05/cnc-controller/ If you want to try it, I can send it to you per mail. Just write me your e-mail.
Ender 3 cnc version :DD Joke!, nice job!
3018 machines are basically "what if ender 3, but cnc"
Ok What is alive ? Is it suppose to walk , eat and poop Because everything alive in this realm eats and poops. Wrong title dude
It eats metal and poops chips :)
@@kofex3495 good one 👍🤣🤣
the rails are steel? or aluminum? And the red things under the table? Aluminum I guess? I didn't search for this video but I like what I see :D
It's all steel, except the table.
They are linear rails, the red things are the bearing blocks
is this nema 17 motor! for the big brother?
Nema 17 with 59ncm and 2 Amp. It can make 2m/min but I'm thinking of using bigger motors but then iwould need more powerful drivers. 🤔
what am i looking at? is that a desktop cnc?
yes, it will be
Congratulations
what a sad and long video ...
The ebay link is dead.
Yes, the a look at kofex.net
excellent
Was isr der Preis für das set ?

Is this still available
Yes, more info at kofex.net or nk@kofex.net
How to order and how much the cost
please send me an e-mail to nk@kofex.net for more info.
Please provide the address of the distributor who sells the Proxxon fd 150 lathe, in *Indonesia ???* .
what is the price of this device?
Hi, Please send me a e-mail to nk@kofex.net
Is it just me or is the sound just in mono? Wery irritating.
This is what i was looking for, for a long time! Thx. It looks really easy!
I don't have the MF70, but have been thinking about buying it someday, but I was wondering, in the video, when you drill those 4 big holes, there are a lot of vertical movement, what is that?, it's like the "bed" is tilting down when drilling?
Hi, yes this ist the slide of the y-axis. In this case the clearance of the slide is not adjusted properly. Like the 3 set screws and nuts on the front for the x-axis there is the same on the left side for the y-axis. But to adjust the clearence properly you have to remove the x-slide, or you have no place to tighten the nut with a wrench. It's a very fiddly work. :)
@@kofex3495 ah, ok, I was worried that there are slop in the MF70, but it can be properly adjusted if one need to?
Yes, its fiddely but doable. It is a slide, and the ajdjusting mechanism is just 3 set screws and a lock nuts, there probably will always be some clearance. Otherwise the friction in the slide will be too much.

Great job bro impressed
where can I buy this kit? link doesent work..
Under kofex.net you can find more info. Or send me a mail to nk@kofex.net
I recently bought this controller for my Proxxon MF70, that I use for milling parts for my 1:160 model railway and a 1:12 model of a dutch cottage. Within three weeks after ordering the controller arrived by mail. Installing it was an easy job, thanks to this video and a short written manual. Unfortunately after a few days one of the stepper drivers ceased working. I contacted mr. Kovjenic, who immidiately asked me to send him the controller for repair, free of charge. Within two weeks I recieved it back. It now works flawlessly. It is a perfect controller for a hobbyist like me. Its is neatly built and is easy to operate. I am impressed by mr Kojenic’s support and his speedy reaction. I can recommend it.
I'd like to purchase, no more on ebay though
Hi, send me an e-mail on nk@kofex.net and also take a look at kofex.net regarding details

How can I contact you for pricing on a minimal kit please?
Hello, send me an e-mail to kofex.industries@gmail.com Greets
Is it NEMA 17 or NEMA 21 Engines?
This are Nema 17 motors. I would not build in nema 23 motors, they are to heavy an big. Also the original Proxxon cnc/ready has nema 17 motors.
easiest conversion ever. thanks for sharing
i'm looking for details on FF500 conversion, which motors to use and power requirements.
150 euros in parts and you sell for 600 euros ? I guess there might be one or two clients in the world for you ^^
It's really cool, check it out :)
@@nobodyelse-h6h Hi, the price may seem high but only the parts for the model display kofex.net/model-display-en/ cost more than the MF70 itself :). And building it is very time consuming. My offer is for people who don't have the time and knowledge to build this themselves and want to go directly into milling. I encourage everyone who wants to build their own controller. Using your PC/laptop and display, you can realise it under 200€. Also you learn a lot of stuff and when it finally works and the motors spin it ist very satisfying. :)
That is actually quite a low markup for a low volume product. Keep in mind all the labour in development, build, shipping, etc.
@@johnbuckley4720 this is an excellent solution which is low cost and super sophisticated ! Congratulations.
It works just awesome. greets from Italy!
