In the introduction of your video you are absolutely right, I have lived in Costa Rica for six years, I once went to Mexico by car with my friends, the Nicaraguan border post is the worst in Latin America, just like those in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The first video I see from Nicaragua. Beside some aspects of its history (civil war in the 1980s), I don't know too many things about this country. Can't wait to discover it through your videos. Interesting that the countries in the region, all spanish-speaking, don't unite in a customs union, like EU, in order to ease commerce and tourism between them. Interesting that there is no direct road from Colombia to Panama, and also no normal ferry connection. It took also 1 week for the car to arrive in Panama.
