@ I don’t have a runaway yet. I have a WeeRoll that is 5 x 8. I camp with 2 medium sized dogs and it’s tight on a twin bed. Am wanting to get a runaway for the extra space. Have my eye on a used one but need to sell what I have first. From all the reviews from people I’ve seen they like having the rain guards. I use an electric throw under me at night to sleep when it’s cold and only use a heater when I’m awake. The throw turns itself off after a preset time. If I get cold during the night I can turn it back on for a time but don’t usually need to. Heaters scare me…guess I’d rather be cold than worried about the heater. 😂 Happy New Year! Here’s to single gals getting out camping and exploring!

I know everyone has their own method but if you're still having problems this might help you. Use your mirrors and while looking out the the mirror if the trailer is heading to the right or left, turn the wheel in the direction the trailer is moving in the mirror to correct and straighten the trailer. Small trailers are know to be difficult to back so hang in there. This video is a little old so you may have figured things out.

If you have a local school or shopping center, I suggest going on a Saturday or Sunday and dropping your trailer and then practicing without the pole. That way you can concentrate on hooking up and not on how close you are to the pole and other obstacles.

👍I have a decal on my trailers and the back window of my pickup in the center, up high. if I can't see the center of my tailgate to line up. At 71 I've hauled alot of horse trailers and such, but not so much in the last 20 years. Just takes practice 😊 and single axel trailers are harder to back than a tandem axel trailer. They turn to quick. Your trailer is light enough and a single axel, so if you had a trailer wheel on your jack. Easy to remove if you need to when you are towing, just has a pin. You could then move the trailer sideways, if needed. I recently bought one at Harbor Freight, for a little cargo trailer I bought last year. Also you can lay a board or something on the ground over from your jack, to help judge how close you are, getting to your ball. I have also found that some automatic transmissions, will roll a bit when you put it in park. I found out if, my food is on the brake, I turn the key off, then put it in park, it doesn't move. But each pickup has it's own tricks. And just ignore others, especially all those helpful men, who feel that they must teach you. 😢 Have confidence, and with practice, I will come. I think a back up camera would harder for me. Just came across your channel. 👍

Bed looks comfy. Made my bed bunk in the same place. My bed is on the floor like 2 inches off the ground and the upper bunk I use as storage area :P I sorta have the reverse version that you made. Ha! Added a large shower curtain pole (the adjustable kind) to keep stuff from falling out during transit on the top bunk. For my runaway I removed the outlet from the wall in the rear and dropped it near the floor on the opposite side of my bed going under it and out the other end. Connected a mini usb fan that hits my face with a nice breeze. Helps me breathe a bit more down there. Your rear door is nice. i didn't get this option on mine. Wish I thought of that.
