We've had 6 black Labs in my immediate family. They're awesome dogs.

Every day, twice a day. I have every imaginable desheder. I have gone through vacuum cleaners like mad. Forget the Dyson. Too temperamental. Lasted 1 week. The Shark duo lasted the longest. The motor burned out after 5 years. That's a good run! I replaced it with a Shark vacuum meant for dog hair. I bought it reconditioned like new for 25% of what new one would cost. Omg! This machine is an animal! The other tool I would suggest costs about a dollar. It is a drain declogger made of a strip of plastic with teeth on both sides. It will unclog your drains and vacuum.

If you feed them at the same time as you, they finish their food extra fast so they can come beg from you

I meet a lot of labs at the dog park... Nope, they absolutely do not calm down at 3. Most are hyper even at 4. I think they can be taught how to be calm but people teach the wrong things

Best breed ever! Love our 10 month old pup. She has made me get and stay active. My only advice is make sure you can RUN them sometime. Walks are great but they really need to open up and run. Even if its a backyard game of fetch. They need to be able to full sprint to stay flexible and wear them out!

My black lab passed away too soon.

I have an iRobot vacuum that vacuums the entire house twice a day and the bin still fills up with fur every 2 to 3 days.

In my experience yellow Labs are food obsessed and Blacks are owner obsessed . either way , They are wonderful dogs

I don’t know how I came across this insufferable video in my feed. If your dogs genetic purity matters this much, the animal should be removed from your care and transferred to a loving home. I’ve spent 5k on a Royalty Heritage Boxer, and this is more insufferable

They're actually bred in England but from Newfoundland water dogs and English gun dogs. Just named Labrador from where they got the water dogs from. It's an English breed though.

I have had several Black Labradors; an amazing breed of dog. A very good natured temperament and loyal beyond question. A Labrador will follow you to the ends of the earth. There are other dog breeds that are just as awesome. Just wanted to rave about the Labrador being one of the best dog breeds out there.

We had the honour to share our home with a Labrador x Border Collie. She was extremely protective of the children. My oldest would take her when doing his paper round and I think had anyone tried to hurt him, she would have attacked. She was never goofy, but calm and confident, and grew to the impressive age of 17. Could have been the Collie though as well, as Collies can be quite territorial. Have witnessed that many times on farms.

I got both ..golden English lab and a black american lab.I can confirm the information given in this video is correct cause my American lab can do high jump while my English lab can't 😂 it's really awesome witness their unique behaviours and characteristics.

We had the sweetest and calmest brown lab ever for 14 years. I hate the way they make this breed look bad and undesirable on this video. Labs are actually super sweet and gentle dogs and are easy to train. Yes they are stubborn but with proper training they behave very well and are highly intelligent and empathic dogs. I have seen so many breeds but till today I’d pick lab any day! 🤎🤎

All true. Labs are simply the best but do come with requirements on the part of the owners. Small price to pay.
