Paid $3000 for a dress my daughter could not wear on her special day! She mailed it out standard delivery about 3 days before the date of the reception. The dress arrived two day after the date! She promised to refund the money, that was back in June, after a lot of texts and calls back and forth. It’s end of August, and no refund. She will not answer our calls or text messages now. Still no refund. I had ordered my daughter wedding dresses and other clothes for myself and my older daughter for her wedding which was in India, they arrived also at the very last day we were to leave the US for India. We were afraid we’re not going to get it. I only got it because I kept messaging her to send it Priority shipping. all items for the reception were ordered 5 months in advance. I kept trying to get updates during that time and was always assured I will get the dress in time. I DID NOT. I told her the dress is no longer needed since my daughter did not get it to wear on her special day! Thank god her in-laws had brought her another dress ti wear from India, so she wore that one. But it was so embarrassing that I could not get the dress she wanted to wear from Pakistan. We ordered her Dholki dress from another designer from Pakistan also, and it arrived a week before the event, than God! Nameera by Farooq is over priced and mimics other designer’s clothes. Which I know now are not a good copy, since I actually saw the work of the original designer and the price I paid her was the same. But living all my life in the US, I got tricked and robbed, according to many who I spoke to later and many of my friends in the US, Pakistan, and India! I later saw some exact dresses she had on her website on Etsy for less then half the price. Boy, did we get fooled. She is a liar and unprofessional. I can say for sure you will be very lucky if you get your items on time! If you order from her, make sure you have a spare option, chances are you will not get you item on time and be disappointed, as we were. You definitely will have a very hard time getting your refund. I still have not, and have lost all contact with her, therefore I am taking my frustration here. DO NOT ORDER FROM NAMEERA by FROOQ!!
