The difference between speed and power, The faster you go, the less (power)torque you have. Speed also affects accuracy. The higher gear reduction was selected for equipment longevity and for extended work time per battery for HM126 users. epicsaw.com

Nice. What material are you cutting. I bought one but have not used it yet.
6061 aluminum
@@tinkerintony thanks for the info. 👍
Chainsaw needs sharpening
Seems like a better way
nice video, thanks for sharing. cant wait to try out the timberjig.
Cómo lo consigo
looking good
Fantastic upgrade! Well done, Tony Gary Wellington
The shakes are strong within this one
Hi Tony. You reckon this will work on the new 136max ? Thanks!
Yes, It's a direct bolt-on
Has this made your cutting process faster? The reason I ask is because I have a Woodland HM130 Maxx and need to speed my process up alittle.
Yes, cuts are consistent and repeatable without having to adjust and confirm on the log scale which speeds the process quite a bit.
does it come in metric?
Yes, there is a Metric toggle in settings that will switch the display completely into metric measurements.
I see you have added external battery to the box. Does the box remember during battery change. Do you have options for the type of battery? I have a number of Harbor Freight 20V Hercules battery's.
Yes, all settings are retained during a battery change. Feel free to contact me via the epicsaw.com website for battery options.
Alaskan mill seems like its easier to prep.
How long does it take to install the power feed?
I've been planning on getting a tiller for my l4701, what size are you running
Dude!
20v Dewalt? that's sweet!
Ok I'm sold!
Nice hammer use 😆
How much does it cost ?
Where's the video that shows how it works feeding
Does the DRO function need to be calibrated when installed? Looks like you're probably doing it by steps or turns? Looks awesome.
Looks great Tony! Looking forward to giving it a test run soon.
Nice work Tony!
Thanks!
Well done, looks great Tony!
Thanks 👍
Like it.
Cómo puedo obtener (comprar) uno igual estoy en Perú por favor si alguien sabe
How deep of passes were you taking on this?
Not very deep. The WG24 really shouldn't be taking deep passes and should only be engaging on the downward quarter of the wheel. The most I typically take on hardwood is 1 inch cuts for the 1/4 of the wheel.
👍👍👍👍👍🙏
👍👍👍👍🙏
👍👍👍👍👍🙏
Neat
And it died
What the heck is he lifting? All l hear is a motor running, not impressed.
A giant bandsaw that cuts logs. Just a chinisium one instead of a woodmizer.
I love the porn-music. 😁😁😁
Very nice. For sale ?
Yes, they can be ordered at epicsaw.com. Use coupon code "tinkerintony" for a $25 discount
Thanks. Ordering a hm126 woodlander very soon. Will definitely be ordering a lift from you. Interested in the auto feed as well. Would like to see a better real time video. Is that a possibility? Thanks , Terry in central NY.
Well done Tony. I blew my shoulder out with the crank and will contact you about a purchase.
I look forward to talking to you about it. Just shoot me an email or message me on the website.
Please Learn me How on how of
Can you update your website pictures to show you are purchasing the version you show in this video? They appear to be two different models.
Looks very nice and operable!
Where can I buy this
Like the video. Can't wait to get mine.
Well done Tony
Very nice set up. Will this also fit my HM126 ?
It will mount to an HM126, but you will need a power source since the engine does not provide power. A decent sized 12v battery will need to be connected.
Dude you rock. I worked in a fab shop and you always went past and back up.
Sip.. 👍👍
We finished the Woodlander xl trailer last night. We start the power head this weekend. Good job
Are you happy with the saw and would you recommend it ?
Yes, I am very happy with the pro. I prefer it over the standard. It seems to start a little easier and is less fuel hungry. I would definitely recommend it over the standard blue one.
@@tinkerintony "the pro"? Is that the orange saw in the video?
You will find a version that already has some upgrades from the factory, that has a black "carbon fiber" hydro dip. It's slightly higher priced than the regular blue one.
@@tinkerintony thanks for the info on these saws 😁
I will get back to you on the email. One thing that would speed things up is if you could make everything move at top speed except the feed rate when cutting. One other thought would be a way to watch the amp draw on the feed motor. Seems that could be a way to see blade ware? Does it have an over amp cut off? Say your cutting and hit steel in the log and kills the blade will it keep going and tear things up? Keep in mind I have never cut a log yet just some questions. I like it.
Top speed is limited, it could cause pinch issues as well as stability issues. It is capable of moving really fast. Don't let the videos fool you, I prefer to run at slower speeds during the testing videos. This one was an early prototype (April/May). Cutting speeds are already separate from feed speeds.
@@tinkerintony That will be very helpful to save time.
OK I am sold can I order one?
The store website is located at store.epicsaw.com . Thank you!
@@tinkerintony I was just looking at your site. I have the 126 so need to figure out charging. You will hear from me again. Please do a in depth video about it.
contact me directly via email: tinkerinwithtony@gmail.com
Very interested. Would like to see a longer real time video. Thanks.
