No, quartz does not! It is a non-porous stone making it resistant to stains! It's also incredibly low maintenance, just clean with mild soap and water. The primary difference between quartz and granite is that it requires sealing to maintain its appearance AND protect against staining! Most say, every 1-3 years.

The large dark beige/peach tile would be used for the master bathroom floor. The lighter 12x24 tiles will be used for the entire shower walls. The subway tile would be used as a deco band, matching the bathroom floor tile in color, and installed at shoulder height all the way around the shower. Additionally, the pebble tiles would be incorporated into the shower tile floor. Calacatta Marble will be used for the vanity top in the bathroom and for the bench and niche shelves.

You raise a great point. In our coastal areas, we see many contractors selecting trending styles to capture the buyer's attention, but the homeowner who walks into our showroom often leans toward a timeless look when making product selections for renovations!

In our area, gold faucets are trending up especially with more people doing gold hardware. And yes , if you have a stainless steel sink go with the gold faucet. It is perfectly ok to mix your metals. Up to 3 finishes is acceptable.

The cabinets are Kraftmaid Warm White and unfortunately, the countertop was a laminate that came with the display. We don't have the exact color for it.

Thank you. In our coastal area, many of the homeowners' beach homes have cool-toned interiors and therefore they opt for gray veining when selecting quartz. Nationally, the trend is definitely leaning toward beige as warmth takes hold. We will be sharing another video this week from our Designer Tina where she spotlights countertops that pair well with wood cabinetry and finishes and you'll see more warmth in her selections.

Sherwin Williams doesn't have an exact match to Kraftmaid's Warm White, but a close option could be Sherwin Williams' "Alabaster" (SW 7008). This color is a warm, soft white that tends to be versatile in various lighting conditions. Another option could be "Creamy" (SW 7012), which has a slightly warmer tone that might closely resemble the warmth of Kraftmaid's Warm White.

We love quartzite too! The price point is a little higher in our area as the fabrication takes a little longer than granite so many of our vacation rental homeowners opt to select quartz and granite for its affordability when it's not a primary residence.

@brunswickcabinets ...Yep, in the midst of remodeling estimates, was going for beautiful and less expensive granite...but EVERY consult or store cringed at granite as old skool. Guess we're paying up, LOL.
