Backcountry Cooking and Camping in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Late Fall Camping
Footage from our two night backpacking trip to my personal favorite backcountry site in the Smokies, #17. This is probably the worst video I have ever uploaded. I tried my best to keep my batteries warm, but I couldn't prevent my camera from shutting off within seconds of starting to record. I did my best to collect as much footage as possible, but it was a struggle. I'll be ordering some Enduro batteries to use before I film my next video. Despite the camera stuggles, this was a great trip. We made steak quesadillas, fresh camp bread, and hiked to Abrams falls. The weather was good and we had a blast.

Had a great time fishing/camping/backpacking in the GSMNP. It wasn't too cold but the fish still weren't cooporating. Regardless, it was a great hike, a great campground, and a really fun trip.

This video recaps my overnight trip to the GSMNP in February. It was a really nice hike, and a great campsite. During trip I dealt with both rain and snow, but it ended up being a great outing! I tried to get some fishing done, but didn't have any luck.
Brook Trout Fishing in the Great Smoky Mountains
Переглядів 4,3 тис.Рік тому
After moving to Knoxville, I was eager to make the short trip to the smokies and catch some of the famous native brook trout that lives in the high elevations of the mountains. My buddy Connor and I made the 3ish mile hike up to a secluded creek and were able to catch some beautiful fish. I want to give a special thanks to the staff at Little River Outfitters in Townsend for their advice and fl...

Clips from our annual trip up to Traverse City, MI. The footage is from both the east and west Traverse bays, as well as Elk Lake, and Lake Skegemog. We typically don't go this late in the year, so we had to make some adjustments to figure out the bite. Overall, the bite was slower than normal but the trip went well.

Rock Bass Hammer Session - Rural Indiana Creek Fishing

A buddy and I went back out to the creek to try and catch some smallmouth. We caught plenty of smallmouth, but couldn't keep away from the rock bass. They certainly get annoying after a while! Despite getting swarmed by them, we still managed to pull out some nice smallies!
Kayak Bass Fishing the Spawn at Geist Reservior - Spawn

The spawn is on at Geist Reservoir in Fishers, IN! A buddy and I went kayak fishing and saw lots of fish on beds, but were unable to get a bite from most. Windy conditions made positioning tough, but we pulled away with some decent bites.

Spring Fishing for Kentucky Lake Bass
Too wet is fine! If it’s too sticky, wet your hands then it won’t stick as bad.
The Outdoor Boys bread was great to watch
Let’s gooooooo
Awesome video. Those fish are beautiful. I know this video is a year or so old but I came across it while scrolling fly fishing videos in the Smokies. I was there this past week and fished the mountain waters for the first time. It was beautiful. I took the advice of a couple of Guides that pointed me in the direction of some good areas to fish. I had a little bit of luck. Nothing too crazy but I was able to catch a very small brookie so that was exciting. Is this on the TN or NC side of the park? Any chance you’d be willing to share the stream with me? If not, I understand. I’ll be going back soon and I’ve been trying to find some other spots.
Where was this exactly? I would love to catch some brook trout this fall!!
Send me a message I’ll take you out!
I have the same stove. To me it’s better than the bsr everyone is using nowadays
Did you had to reserve the site?
Great looking hike, I love solo backpacking trips! Looks like we have the same water bottle😆 Add another sub to your list!
I was in the great smokies for the first time in January! An amazing place, weather got dicey for me but made it out day 3 😂 soo much more rain than expected came in 18 hours early haha!
This was such a great and actually enjoyable experience! Nicely edited and overall presentation is amazing!
Thank you sir! I appreciate it!
Really cool to see you do this. One of my goals this year is trying to get more into camping this year. I’m making plans for a camping and fishing trip next month in ND if the weather is decent.
That sounds awesome dude!!
I love the video.. I was laughing a few times, one of my favorite lines “Definitely would go good with some hot sauce….. 🤷🏻♂️next time”
Let’s gooo
How do you do these trips solo?? I get so anxious at night in the woods like that!
Haha, me too! Definitely takes some getting used to
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Wet them hands and don't take so long on your release.
Fish care wasn’t a strong suit on this trip. It was my first time fishing for brookies as I have just moved to the smokies area. I’ve since purchased a net to hold them in the water and some forceps to make the process smoother and safer for the fish!
Please don’t spot drop
Was that first fish a brookie or just bait?
It was a small brookie. We use flies to catch them
Can you tell me where this is exactly…?
@@jonahsuggs4120 I live in the foothills in Sevierville…just got into fly fishing last July. I have found some really great places, ran into bears, river otters and more. It’s amazing out here!!! Thanks for the location response bro!
@@jeffmann7265 Did he respond to this comment? I was wondering where this was.
Awesome! The scenery alone makes the trip worth it. The fish are just a bonus. Great job!
Look at this absolute stud catching some Brookies. Love the drive in too. Beautiful scenery
Griffy legend!
Damn you must be the best angler on that lake
Good stuff.
Great video. Rock bass are fun when you get on a school of big ones. We caught over 300 in about 5 hours a few years ago.
Nice little creek you got there. I love how clear it is. Catching fish is a bonus. Great video.
Tearing it up out there on the smallies. Great job. Pretty cool to see that little turtle just come floating down the creek to you
Awesome looking creek. Love creek fishing for smallies. Great job out there. That one was a really nice one, even the little ones are fun to catch.
Thanks, man! It was on of the bigger ones I've caught out there. The little ones are fun too, they always put up a fight!
Mind subscribing to me and my dads small fishing channel. It would mean a lot
W video
Caught a few there in November. Awesome creek!

Probably about 2 miles up from the dam!
Is this near Monroe dam?
Trash
My favorite lake to fish! Haven't tried the close side of the bridge much, but you've inspired me.
It isn’t too bad. Lots of small fish, but hard to find the big ones.
Yo this guy is faded
Stupid fucking video
