Lost13
United States
Приєднався 26 жов 2016
The Lost13 Channel’s primary focus is camping videos. Specifically, Bikecamping although I occasionally use a camper (about once a year) and truck. The main goal of Lost13 is to promote camping as a pastime and to show that anyone can do it. You don't need to be a bushcraft master or have a bunch of ultra-light kit. Camping is an enjoyable experience and can be done any way you choose to do it.
Daughter Take Over

Lock 23, Hennepin Canal
Переглядів 752 місяці тому
On this trip I ride to Lock 23 on the Hennepin Canal Trail. I deal with the heat and an evening thunderstorm. I sheltered in a latrine after receiving a tornado alert. During the day I tried a #chadmendes camping meal and checked out the lock. I don't know why but I do a lot of talking in this one. #solocamping #bikecamping #lost13
Solo Bike Camping Fail
Переглядів 1,2 тис.4 місяці тому
This trip was a bit disastrous. I forgot some gear and had to turn around, I went the wrong way on the trail for 8 miles, and then I hit a wall. I must of been dehydrated. The last few miles of the trip I was stopping every mile to rest. I never made it to the site I was planning on and cut the trip short a day. #solocamping
Bridge 14 on the Hennepin Canal

A peaceful overnighter on the Hennepin Canal. Bridge 14 is one of the larger sites on the canal. The website claims there is a boat ramp there. There is no boat ramp. Still, it was easy enough to get the kayak in the water. #camping #solocamping #Lost13
Short solo camping trip

This camping spot is at the trailhead for the Red Cedar Trail. I was pretty smoked after hiking the trail so this camp was all about relaxing and recovering. It's short, relaxing, and uneventful. Thanks for watching!

Bike Camping Lock 11 Hennepin Canal
Переглядів 295Рік тому
Honestly, this trip was hardly worth filming. This was my last opportunity to camp until after summer. I rode 9ish miles down the #HennepinCanal to Lock 11. The Lock 11 campground is very small, close to the trail, and it felt like it was in someone's backyard. Compared to other places on the canal I have camped this spot seemed popular for fishing. Many hikers and cyclists also began their tri...
Sunny April tent camping

April has not always been a great time of year for me to camp but for this trip, I had the perfect weather. I go on a short hike and review some crazy peanut butter wine as well as a camp meal by Alpine Aire. #Lost13 #solocamping #tentcamping

Meal Ready-to-Eat: Shredded Beef in Barbecue Sauce
That storm was mad scary!
My favorite You Tube creator by far.
I've met hundreds of UA-cam creators, and he is by far the hairiest.
Thanks as always for a good video. Appreciate your taking the time to do this.
I look forward to watching these. Keep up the good work!
It´s not always sunshine and happy trails. It´s good that there are videos about this side too, for some realism. Hope the next one is better 👍
Hope your going to be okay! Thank you
Dill pickle juice for cramping and or extended energy. Worth a look see. I feel ya friend.
@michaellane1316 I do enjoy the occasional swig of pickle juice. Not sure how I'd pack it for camping. Maybe those individually wrapped pickles I see at gas stations.
Appropriate your honesty, it doesn't always go as planned but hey you got out there and learned what to do for the next one.
@socaljoe Thanks, it was for sure a learning experience.
Is that a Radical Designs Chubby you're towing?
@enricoflor3601 No, it's a Aosom Bicycle Cargo Trailer. It's decent for the price.
Even though it wasn't the trip you were planning, it was still a trip on bike - can't be all bad :) Sorry to hear about the drone though - that sucks.
@sighfie8324 Even a bad camping trip is still a camping trip. I managed to enjoy the peace and quiet of the evening.
Bummer you ran into a few issues. At least you got in a couple of partial days of riding and returned safely. Thanks for sharing.
@Rlaplante73 My life is pretty busy. So, I always appreciate any chance I get to ride, even if it's a challenging ride.
Chad Mendes was a MMA fighter, idiot.
I'm just kidding, you're not an idiot.
Thanks for the overview!
Thanks for watching. Cheers.
There is a water usage fee for your kayak you failed to pay or mention and the lake is a 10 horse power limit on boat motors not a 10 mph limit.
The only thing I have failed is my audience. Thank you, sir. You are a true American hero. I promise my next trip to Evergreen will be more informative and more accurate.
So much better than current Doctor Who.
I think one of my friends might have a magic carpet that he is thinking about getting rid of if you are interested
I'll be in contact.
@@Lost13 yeah he’ll probably just give it to you because his wife made him quit riding it so he took up blacksmithing, but he used to ride it all the time when he was younger
I got that same magic tent at REI
Do you have a link? I am in the market.
Good to see you out camping again😊
Lovely editing my friend 👏👏
Thank you very much!
Nice video ! 👍 I love Tiny Epic Games ! 💙
Das Lost13-Fitnessstudio hat mich zu dem Mann gemacht, der ich heute bin.
I believe this is what Hobbits smoke.
Essence of potato
Such a beautiful atmosphere my friend, great upload!
Thank you!
Back in the late 60s, I would bike on a 2-wheel path with my dog, long before anyone traveled the 2 path trail.
No rain?! Jack must be the secret weapon. Nice video.
It didn't seem right without the rain.
Zombies are scary
I hear Bridge 23 is haunted
This stuff gave me instant abs
Nice. Thank you for sharing.
Do you ever do wheelies?
No
Just found your videos and really enjoying them. My friend and I did a three day bike trip on the Hennepin back in 2020 and probably bit off more than we could chew. Should’ve tried your method first.
I carry so much stuff for single night trips, I'm not sure how I'd do on a 3 day trip. Thanks for watching.
Pretty good in a protein shake
Pretty good in a protein shake.
Just got a bike trailer like that , haven’t had cance to use it yet
I like my old trailer slightly better because it was bigger. I like how this one attaches to the bike and the removable tote is nice.
did you actually have reservations? that is a difficult eating establishment to get a table at..! Well done
It took weeks to get a table at the place. Service was good, food was just ok. It's the atmosphere that keeps me returning.
I have a new channel and I'm still learning the rules to making UA-cam videos. Do you have to eat in front of the camera always thought that was gross
No, the rules specifically state that eating in front of the camera is optional. Thanks for watching.
I remember that feeling overseas. Wake up at 5am or something and it’s 80 degrees and I had to put a sweatshirt on. But when it was 110 most of the day it made it chilly. Miss you Staff
One of our early missions, we didn't bring sleeping bags or woobies. Felt like it was freezing. Some of the guys slept in body bags. I miss you too.
How do you know where to camp? Is there a guide to campsites, water, bathrooms, etc.? Like your videos.
For Hennepin Canal, check out this site: dnr.illinois.gov/parks/camp/park.hennepincanal.html There are maps for each site.
Always look forward to your cinematography.
Appreciate the video. Watching the mist from the water was nice.
meh
I hadn't thought of that. Excellent point.
I'm still not convinced Howard is a real person
how much weight can this bike pull?
The manufacturer recommended limit is 88 pounds.
Peanut butter wine. 🎉
Very informative! I like the part when you zoom in on your big hands!
Hope your still riding, just received the video, six years late ! 50% chance of rain? Never understood that one, might rain, then again might not. Who knows ! That's why they are the professionals.
I'm still riding, just not as much as I'd like to be. Check out my channel for more videos. Being a weather forecaster is a sweat gig; if I was wrong half the time at my job I'd get fired. Cheers.
Thank you for the video, very nice
I love this game so hard. SO hard.
what do you like about it?
So, I was watching a couple other videos of this game and moves and actions were treated separately. Basically, after each move you may perform one of three actions, depending on availability. Example: You have to move 3 times. First you move out of the courtyard (Move 1). Nothing can be done there, no action taken. Second move, you head into adjacent store. There is a Zombie in a neighboring move, so you us a ranged attack (1 action). Then you take your third and final move. Move into a room with a token in it, and for your action you interact with that token. 3 moves, up to one action per move. Here, you counted actions as a move. Is that something that is part of solo play as a set limitation, similar to the remove of horde powers for the zombie? Or, is it a misunderstanding of the survivor's turn?
It was a misunderstanding. Your example is the correct way.
@@Lost13 Thank you for the clarification, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I don't have the game yet, but am planning on picking it up soon. Have a great day.
