I've not used the V10 grip pen, so I am not sure. But I believe, if this pen can be refilled, this ink can be used.

​@@penterest I have not used the V7 also but it seems it's not very different from the V10 grip. The V10 has the cartridge design and following your video I was able to refill it with some fountain pen ink I had on hand. It also worked fine. Thank you so much, your video was very helpful.

Pilot Prera is an excellent fountain pen, but not for everyone. 1. The pen looks beautiful & it is easily pocketable, but, the small form factor is not liked by everyone; 2. The snapping mechanism is extremely satisfying, but, the clear cap can easily be stained; 3. The grip section is far better Pilot Metropolitan, but, the build quality of the pen could have been better; 4. The pen writes very smoothly, but, cannot be used as an eye-dropper; 5. And, last but not least, at around Rs 4000, it seems a bit over priced as we have many other options at that price point. Whatever, it is a great fountain pen which writes very smoothly, but, does not seem to be a value-for-money option. Hope it helps. Thank you.

Waterman Serenity Blue খুব ভালো মানের কালি, একদিকে এর ওয়েটনেস খুব ভালো, আবার, অপরদিকে এটা একটা well controlled কালি । Platinum Preppy Fine কিংবা Pilot Kakuno Fine পেনগুলিতে স্বচ্ছন্দে ব্যবহার করুন, classmate এর খাতায় bleeding issue আসার সম্ভাবনা খুবই কম ।

আমি খালি cartridge রিফিল করে ব্যবহার করতেই বেশি পছন্দ করি, তাতে ink capacity মোটামুটি ভালই পাওয়া যায় + বিভিন্ন কালিও ব্যবহার করা যায় + burping এর সমস্যা থেকেও রেহাই মেলে ।

ঠিকই বলেছেন কিন্তু ব্যবহার করার অভিজ্ঞতা কেমন?

Camlin এর Royal Blue কালি ব্যবহার করলে পেনটির performance খুব একটা ভালো নাও পেতে পারেন, কারণ এতে ব্যবহৃত dye খুব একটা ভালো মানের বলে আমার মনে হয়নি, পেনটিকে ব্লক করে দিতে পারে । তাই ব্যবহার না করার পরামর্শই দেব । Camlin Permanent Black বলতে কি marker ink এর কথা বলছেন? ওটা তো fountain pen এ মোটেই ব্যবহার করবেন না । সুলেখার কালি তো ওদের ওয়েবসাইট থেকেও কিনতে পারেন, বাড়িতেই পেয়ে যাবেন । ধন্যবাদ ।

@penterest না দাদা পারমানেন্ট মানে ব্ল্যাক ইংক টার কথাই বললাম। আমি সুলেখাই ব্যবহার করি স্বাধীন ব্লু আর কালা পানি মানে black টা । বারবার শহরে যাওয়া possible হয়ে ওঠেনা কালি শেষ হলে। কিছু ফাউন্টেন পেন কালেক্টর আর সেলার দের সাথে গ্রুপ এ যোগাযোগ তৈরি হয়েছে। সুলেখা ওনাদের থেকেই অর্ডার করবো এবার। এবং রিপ্লাই করার জন্য অনেক ধন্যবাদ দাদা।

Thank you for asking the question. What I feel is that there are many of us who don't want to spend a lot of money on expensive inks. There are also many situations, like, day-to-day usage or doing rough work, when we just don't need fancy expensive inks. In these situations, I believe these inexpensive inks can be very helpful for us.

Not yet, maybe in the future, not sure though.

If you can spend Rs 1000, I recommend extending it a little further and buying Iroshizuku inks. These are damn good inks. Else, for regular use in Cello and Parker fountain pens, there are plenty of good inks around Rs 500 like Pilot, Waterman, Pelikan, Diamine, Krishna etc. All these are very good inks and provide a very good experience for the price. For Rs 1000, Pilot Kakuno is one of the best fountain pens. I have already made a video on it. Hope it helps. Thank you. Happy Writing 🙂

Where and when did you buy the pens? I also got this pen at a shop at Rs 150 only, online prices are always very high.

@penterest I Baught this pen 2 months back from an store in Kerala. Mine is not an piston filler. It had lamy type converter, I now use it as an eye dropper fountain pen. Also mine fountain pens cap is not threaded. Extra fine nib. After I converted it to an eye dropper the pen is wet it feels good. Also the quality is good,I Baught 3 when later visited the shop alp stocks finished.

I haven't faced any such problem so far, but yes, there are many instances of fake products being supplied. It is always better to order from trusted sellers only.

Regarding the smoothness, Kanwrite nibs are better in general, but the President nib is also not far behind.

Comparing Royal Blue inks from both the brands, I can say that Bril ink has few advantages like: (1) It doesn't feather or bleed even on low quality papers which makes it an excellent choice for daily use, (2) The glass bottle of Bril is far superior to the plastic bottle of Camlin, (3) Ink flow is better than Camlin. (4) It is less likely to clog the pen. However, the Camlin also has few advantages like: (1) The colour is more vibrant than Bril. Bril looks very pale in comparison to Camlin, (2) Camlin inks are easily available, that is not the case with Bril inks. Don't use new Camlin inks which are coming in plastic bottles. They are not good compared to the previous ones. Also brill blue is better than Parker for normal writing but it will fade alot with time.

For their prices, yes. For the overall writing experience, not much. Both are muted colours, both fade over time. (Bril Royal Blue vs Parker Quink Blue)
