Do mail carriers work on Christmas or Christmas Eve
No one talked about being interviewed in the process
when you are out from the office, which street should go first and then which street? And if you are on the street, for example, first street, which house should you deliver mails first and then which one, and how can you find the correct mails for the first house?
Is that carrier 's job to case all the mails in order or somebody will do for them?
This is much less intense sounding compared to what the website talked about.
So anybody that wants to work for the PO I would suggest working PSE mail processing clerk they make currently 20.48 hr and your less likely to be let go I worked in a plant in 2021 and I loved it currently going back just waiting on my offer at that time I was making 18.69. I’m excited to go back and it was very easy just processing mail through a machine goodluck to anybody that’s applying and starting at the PO
Find another job the P.O. is sinking 👍
I've been hearing this for years, and it's still standing. Can you explain to me why it's sinking? I am so oblivious to this.
@Yt99950 if you don't have this feeling
@Yt99950 God bless you

Where did you get that hat from????
I called out 3 days & had a doctors note and they terminated me.
Wow I never heard of that my friend always take days off sorry to hear that
You’re awesome!!! Thank you so much for these tips!!!! I’m on my third week and still no improvement…
Im interested
I think we need a meal prep reel.
Do you use those gloves in the winter? And what boots do you wear in the winter
Help em out 🙌🏾
Boston gives two chances right now, but you don't need it because the training course and trainers are extremely good, showing you everything.
I’m taking the test as we speak and im nervous af cuz ion wanna fail
How did you do? Was it hard? What all was on it? Anything throw you for a loop?
@@trishaanne5845 It's similar to what's shown on here, although these exact questions are now only about 10-15% of the test. However, there's still wisdom in studying the old test. Go to USPS Mac's three-part series on the 474 exam & study how each question is answered, as even though most questions are different, they're scored using the exact same concepts & standards. I took the test in early September & scored a 98. This morning, I received my orientation invitation for a CAREER position (PTF) instead of having to go in as a CCA. What I did was type out & print the entire set of questions & answers shown in all three of Mac's videos, then study them intensely & write down all of the patterns I noticed. Some useful tips are as follows: -Always select "MOST LIKE ME" in the relevant section; never select "SOMEWHAT LIKE ME" -Always select the answer that makes you seem like a compulsive overachiever -Never select an answer that involves you referring a customer to a supervisor; they don't seem to like being bothered -Be willing to help coworkers, but in a quick manner: instead of offering to do part of their work for them, offer them tips for improvement. They want the perfect (contradictory) mix of someone who's highly independent, efficient, & a team player -Make sure your answers are consistent: they'll ask you the same question worded several different ways to try & expose any lies Good luck!
@@Tyrosine0910Thanks for the info!
It is a test and I failed mine today, and I was so disappointed. It is impossible to pass if you haven’t driven an LLV before. The feel of the steering wheel is totally different, plus you're driving on the right side. I wasn’t even given a chance to familiarize myself with how the vehicle feels. My instructor doesn’t really care if I pass or not; once I’m in, he told me to drive to the driving course and do parallel parking and reverse parking. He knows I can handle it; if not, he would schedule me for another test. They are quite rigorous in their approach, expecting you to become acquainted with and proficient at operating a vehicle you've never driven before in a single session.
Why is the usps paying workers so low for example ccas start at $19.33
fax we should get waaaay more. its exhausting work
@@burningknuckle26 I would take my pure time doing that job .. yall be tripping working for low wages and giving them 100%
that's a federal job so anywhere gets pay the same
Your headwear is fire !
Thank you for taking your time to make this video
I’ve been a mail carrier for 25 years. Believe me when I say that I feel like quitting most days. Lots of nonsense these days especially with the gps system. All in all carrying mail is a decent job, but your body will break down eventually 😢.
Helpful thank you! I’m 22 n just got hired today WOO excited to make dat shmoney!
i Hope everything is great
I go get my fingerprints done on Monday for this job. listening to her makes me not even want to do this job anymore,
Same! I'm getting anxiety 😩
Did you get drug tested before employment?
@@emilioserrato8725 no I didn’t
@@Heavenisburning1thank you! Have a blessed day !
This is obviously fake. No way a Letter Carrier can be this pretty
Thank you for your video I’m taking my assessment today for the carrier assisted position is that the position you are working in
How did you do??? I’m gonna be taking mine soon
use the bathroom FIRST (meaning youre not going to take a lunch. welcome to america... )
you can not take lunch? why? but they give you 30 minutes lunch time
unless youre living in a small town that has very few homes, dont be a cca. remain an rca.
My driving test is today and I’m nervous because I cannot parallel park 😭😭😭
did you pass?
@@adenbannon yes. Super easy!
Inwatched the usps driver whip in and out of UPS trucks and people who live on my street. Y’all presumecway too much.lol that’s why we really dislike you,,,cis this crap.
So you take the test from home and then you go in for orientation and take another test ?
I made a 95 on my 474 and made a 77 on my 477
Great info girl!!
i just passed my 120. The job sucks I do hate working sunday, but when the days are good they are good. Just accept the fact you are at the bottom of the pyramid. I called out but doing it with the form way in advance and had no problem I show up to work finish my route and help when needed. EMBRACE THE SUCK. plus new contract comes soon lol
That's the only thing about this job... a good day with USPS is probably the best "good day" out of any other jobs I've ever had personally. Being a carrier with your own route on a good/light day with no extra work thrown at you is amazing. Edit* Unfortunately though, I have been having to take pain and recovery medication in order to deal with the extra workload I've been getting as a CCA lately.
What's the starting pay
@@obieonesteph7675 trash 19 bucks a hour unless your not on the mainland like puerto rico or hawaii then you get added money called t cola. either way if the new contract doesnt get a hefty pay raise im immediately looking elsewhere
@@elliotmedina4455How much do entry level cca’s make monthly? Is it safe to start this job knowing theres bills to pay or is this an entry level job that requires you to have two jobs to pay bills?
@@bbyluxe5 like $19 dollars and should be the same across the country. but with that pay, how can people pay out their rent
Hey how was the interview process?
lol what interview?
lol I’ve been doing this for 5 years. Was cca for 2 years. All I see are negative comments about the job. I mean it’s work. No different from other jobs. Show up..do the best you can..don’t call in. Don’t give managers a reason to pick on you. Just like any other job. I just think folks don’t want fo work lol.
Just show up do the best you can always ask questions don't throw away mail hit somebody or get in accident you will be fine in terms of speed that comes with time but you don't always want to be the slowest or fastests
I’m a cca and what are the credit union that are connected with the usps And do you get early access to your direct deposit funds ? If you know
God day🎉
Sup Jordan…I’m a regular mail handler for about 9 years now. I got considered for a regular city carrier position from e-assign. My question is will my pay drop or will I start on the same pay grade I’m on now?
in a FEW hours is my driving test. I should be sleeping but Im watch your videos.. smh lol
Mine is next week, what state you work? Let me know how it goes bro
did you pass, I almost didn't pass mine. the instructor skipped lunch to train me more on it. [im now 5 months in, time flew by real fast] I got hired in january, oh and btw be prepared to work 59 hours a week and get sent to other stations, and do NOT go over 12 hours or 60 hours or you'd get in trouble
@@JoshuaCarVlogs I passed. Im in NY. I failed the test back in January but I this time was the teachers were much more easy going
@@tangothomas6015 I passed Im now in Academy now.
@@ThisIsGeltownhow you liking the job ?
Thank you for this video!! Just got hired and I know all this information is going to be crucial!
welcome to slav- I mean the team.
Heres what you do get injuired hope managment fires you then sue and win a settlement around 150k.
I heard about that lol
yup especially in california, where the laws are really strict against firing somebody forgetting injured on the job.
Thanks for the info, im about to be a CCA. Very informative.
You are beautiful.
Do CCA only deliver to businesses or do they deliver to both businesses and residential areas?
Everything
They still doing the test? Heard they don’t do the test anymore
Id tell you yes they do if UA-cam would stop deleting my comment 😡!!!
@ToeKneeNose911 do you need a highschool diploma to be a CCA?
@@Pink_Ranger54… yes
Thank you, i just accepted an RCA position and I've very nervous. You had wonderful notes. Keep it up and again thank you.
How’s that going?
After living in the USA, with green card, can I apply form into USPS (CCA city carrier assistant)? Thanks.
