I hate this game...I have practiced my ars off and I can't find any consistency no matter what way I throw it!...lol...I wonder if it has something to do with the shoes they are throwing...Our regulation shoes are more square.
well, watching video of the guys throwing ... but none of where the shoe ended up ... really isn't all that enlightening, is it? just FF to the end to see who wins. yea!
looks like they are throwing in mud. easy to get shoes to stick in that i imagine. years ago a buddy and i got in a little tournament that was on an old baseball infield. the ground war hard and the shoes would bound like crazy. well we got put out by a couple guys we had known for years and who dropped one shoe after another on the stake. ours were bouncing all over the place that day but somehow those guys were not. they could have thrown ringers on concrete that day i imagine.
Me and my best friend and housemate are finally about to do what we have been threatening to do, and finally learning horseshoes. Even scored a nice set of old Royals (2 blue and 2 gray) for under $4 at Salvation Army recently. Very tempted to repaint the gray ones my preferred forest green. Might embarrass ourselves by recording our first foray into horseshoes most likely midweek, if the weather stays nice like this.
ah royals are some nice shoes. have not thrown in years but used to all the time. now people around these parts just want to play that corn hole game instead. i prefer shoes but will do the other as i have to get my competition where i can get it.
Growing up we have threw in sand.. rocks... concrete and hard dirt in the mountains on side of mountains n etc.. I feel anyone in our family could throw better than most of these.. it’s about balance and learning how to flip them right
listen anybody looking for a partner I can pictures you like nobody else well I'm just kidding I'm just as good as everybody I watched Aurora I average around to 65% ringers
We mainly don’t think about much. Taking the mind out of your pitch is important. You can’t overthink the process. But the last thing that is a must is “SEEING” the shoe into the stake in that last moment before the shoe leaves your hand. This can give you your needed height and also center the shoe.

And who knows? Horseshoes could lead to shuffleboard, which could lead to darts, which can lead to billiards, which can ultimately lead to bowling...

@@nowthatsjustducky probably horseshoes gonna lead to cornhole as that seems to be the most similar game.

@Everything Is Forever SILENCE, FOOL.
Any general consensus on what most of the good pitchers are thinking about while in the act of pitching a shoe?
Wicked hot slash

Watching this is about as much fun as watching a bag of potato chips go stale.
Check out my split screen Horseshoes in my 2018 playlist. It’s still boring as hell but at least you can see the game played better.
