Do you have trigger with a 4.5 pound pull using an oem connector?
@robedwards6926 yes I do, the Peacemaker 4.0 without the extra striker spring.
@@tacticalpontoon Does the connector remain stock?
@@robedwards6926 it comes with my tuned and polished factory dot connector
I change all my Glock Striker Springs to 6lb Wolff in G20 and G21 ( 45 Super) with Ghost maritime Turbo Cups for Heavy loads in Alaska Trail pistols.
@@redteam9881 never a bad idea to go heavier when you are out in the wild and may need to face a bear
Your lighting is poor
@@GHicks-lu5tu will work on it
I dont trust myself id like to mess with this myself. But my gunsmith will do all of this for $30 not sure if i needed a factory 43x trigger housing but I got one with a 3.0 ghost. I hope it helps the reset. The trigger pull isnt bad
@michaelsherfield3749 if it is for a Micro Dagger...you will also need a 43x trigger bar as well. The Micro trigger bar isn't compatible with the 43x housing. You need to change both.
@@tacticalpontoon would I be able to put the connector on the factory housing? I really only bought the 43x housing because I plan on putting a new trigger in the future.
@michaelsherfield3749 yes, the connector would work. I am not a fan of those connectors (I run factory 43x connectors in my systems) because they give a very rolling break.
@@tacticalpontoon I just want it to improve my reset. If not I'll just get a whole new trigger.
@@michaelsherfield3749 it should help the reset a little bit. I find real geometry changes are needed to get a real boost in the reset.
Glad youre back, man. Really enjoy your live streams. Welcome back!
You've helped me understand trigger. I only have a tuneup kits and can only imagine what the full kit feels like
I have a question I have a p80 with a Glock 19 slide aftermarket but two factory specs and then aftermarket uppers kit inside of it and I have a problem with the shells getting stuck they're not getting chambered all the time I'd say once or twice out of 15 rounds I did notice that my firing pin does not retract once I move the slide forward I look at the firing pin and before the slide completely closes I know you're supposed to watch your firing pin retract back in and it's not doing that until the slide is fully closed I compared it with my factory Glock 19 and the firing pin retracts back into the channel about a quarter inch before the slide is all the way closed I can watch it pull back in its not doing it on my p80 is this the problem for what could it be again the shells are getting caught on the firing pin because it's not retracting back in please someone help me😢
@@mattfarley6068 shoot me an email at Tacticalpontoon@gmail.com. I will help sort you out
I'm still waiting brotha.
It IS a cool patch! And thanks for including one on my last order. Your triggers ROCK! 🎉
👍
Would over engagement cause sticker to not move forward? Will only go forward when i lift the rear of the slide up with pressure

@@tacticalpontoon I appreciate your time, man this micro Dagger has me frustrated. Going to try this when I get home.
Love the Theatric Oration!❤
Amazinly looking 43 . I think I’m going to get mine out of the mothballs for that upgrade.
You can’t go wrong with the PSA Mag. Shield still have some issues from what I hear. They got it right the very first time & they’re phenomenal , pricy but awesome. GET RID OF THAT SHIELD MAG BEFORE IT C😮ST YOU YOUR LIFE !
Bro that gun is beautiful, I absolutely love that camo job
@@JeremyMcCreary-ib7wo Clint at Sapper Tactical does amazing work
'Black and Red' color scheme!!!!
I've always avoided frame clones, but these have my curiosity piqued. The Glock beaver tail helps me with slide bite, but they're too thick and make the guns point funky for me. The beaver tail on these look like they may be the ticket for me...and that green is calling my name..💚
I don't know how you get away with bending this. I was so careful bending and it just snapped on 2 oem triggers
@@gizmakthegushaa5707 think of it as a spring....spring it...don't bend
What if after install the trigger doesn’t want to break. Pull all the way back and it doesn’t break . But if I pull a little harder it finally breaks ?
@@drfrankenstein4127 I would recommend getting an armorers plate and following this video.
You need to speak louder, couldn't really keep up due to low video sound.
@@leonardbarron6967 I will look at fixing that
Just add a Glock OEM Trigger
@@GHicks-lu5tu and the steps I outline....it's not an immediate improvement at all
When we gonna build me one?
So i bought mine yesterday for 149 through PSA. I wanted a trigger for a while and just went with this cause I've fingered a few Zevs in my day and liked em more than the dagger trigger. How would you feel about the trigger(ultimate pro*add WWE voice-over*)for almost 60% off? My nickel and dime self cant pass a deal. Shoot, i got a steiner mps just sitting here cause it was half off. 😅
@drewbienewbie03xx81 the Peacemaker 4.0 is 150 currently. Would have been better 😎
1:45 center punch broski.
Quick question Does the drop ins have a rolling break, or is it clean with not that much creep? Im looking at the 4.0
@Jrock628 the 4.0 is a crisp break and the 3.0 is a more rolling break. To get the best break, always tune the cruciform per my video
@@tacticalpontoon thanks
HELLZ YA! Now I have to have one!
Hey I have a quick question not related to this video. I want to purchase your drop in peacemaker trigger kit will it work on all gen 3 Glock clones? I have a Bul Armory Axe Tomahawk(gen 3 g19 clone).
@Tsand4 yes sir, the Bul is compatible with my trigger systems, except the Leonidas
Awesome thanks for the quick response!
@@Tsand4 check your email too. Lol
@@tacticalpontoon lol Sorry about that figured I’d email too see whichever u respond to first. I purchased it after heard back from you excited to get it and install it see how it feels!
Learned how to polish that trigger bar and striker lug real good, Changed the trajectory of everything. Glonk go brrrrr. Straight dumping on em.
Ordered one yesterday. Was told way better than Lone Wolf or SCT.
Does the striker spring weight have any effect on a compensated slide?Would I need to lighten the spring weight along with the recoil spring weight?
@@shelomonscales7273 not unless there is an extreme case.
Why not just do a trigger pull test to show it....idiot
Can't stand hinged triggers.
I had this issue on my factory glock 43.
Just installed the peacemaker 3.0 drop in for my g22 gen 4. Absolutely amazing trigger with amazing customer service! If you are looking to upgrade your glock with a complete package Tactical Pontoon is the way to go!
Ohhh yeahhh, pure perfection!
My trigger system is yours best one haha
@@steveo6685 run it hard!
@@tacticalpontoon oh I do
The Glock Store makes a little plastic tool that makes reassembling the trigger housing so much easier. That sucker can be a bear.
I learned the value of proper lug engagement. I had a gun I thought was ok until the striker dropped while handling the gun. I heard and felt it drop, wondering what that could have been. I unloaded the gun (yes, one was in the chamber) and put an armorers plate on the back. Once I got it to drop again I was mortified. Thank God for the striker safety. It prevented a negligent discharge in my bedroom. I’ve since checked every Glock I have to ensure that never happens again. Thanks for your video on how to adjust them. Big fan, great videos sir.
Thats one of the cleanest 43s ive seen.Wow!
Can you drop a installation video im looking to buy one but I can't find a gunsmith close in my area
@@Lesstalkingmoredoing I can assist you with questions, but I don't have a full install video for those.
@@tacticalpontoon i was gonna buy once and cry once for the leonidas but im not sure im capable of the fine tuning so i might just get the peacmaker but i want that crisp reset of the leonidas😅
@@Lesstalkingmoredoing go for the Leonidas and don't look back. You can do it!
this is basically just a drop in and if there are any issues he has good troubleshooting videos I had a leo in an xr920 that I altered to take out more pretravel break was great and safeties still worked and ordered a excommunicado but wasn’t as happy with it, and just ordered another leo for my g19 this and the timney alpha are the best triggers I’ve worked with
Always got your trigger system
Hi Al
Another informative video 👊🇺🇸
lmao do you hear yourself says its the same trigger and then points out differences . the spring in a tyrant is a lot stiffer, you can feel the kick back when you hit the reset. the saftey is significantly thinner, the finish is not the same. all these factors literally show its not the same trigger . you even point i t out yourself except for the spring mechanism. sounds like you are the less informed.
@@KarenActivator1000 ...... thanks for your input and insight.
James thanks for another great detailed and informative video, that will definitely help several people out. You have helped me immensely over the years with your vast knowledge of the glock platform. I can’t say enough about how great you and your triggers are. The tactical pontoon drop-in has been my absolute favorite trigger for my dagger compacts and now my dagger micros and sct sc 43 frame. I have 5 now and wish I had them in every frame. Smart how they fit G19 holsters and that beavertail is great. Will give Shadow Systems a run for the money.

Any experience with the Ghost Unit? Looking to pair that with a Vex F3 trigger shoe.
@dnalor8753 which ghost unit? Also, that Vex shoe has a special video from JG so you can learn how to properly press the trigger due to alot safety dragging issues.
@@tacticalpontoon It's called the Ghost unit 3.0 connector, seems to be their lightest and smoothest they claim
@dnalor8753 the 3.0 always gave me a very very rolling break or binary issues. I have a couple of them in my connector collection, but the Edge 3.5 has been a better option.
