The problem in my garden is grub worms. Have you ever dealt with them before?
@@bloomwithKels not yet. But they will make a turn oneday.
Please what's a cash crop?🤔
@@sonwabiso_joy oh, I meant Cash crop..... crops that I will sell to make money from.

@@PlantinginSA I'll do an update video soon... where I'll show you how things are looking now. Thank you so much.
@simondesveggies2290 please 🙏
@@PlantinginSA hey good day I just made an update video check it out ua-cam.com/video/IynUG1qM1sM/v-deo.htmlsi=9soVXgn35rJXRGIv
They say you must plant it in a square so the pollen can reach all, anyway now you can make your own pap
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Each "hair" will polinate a single grain inside. So i guess the gaps are because of improper pollination. You might have harvested it a little too early. My old grandmom always had to wait until 3 cycles of silk. It will come out and dry off 3 times then we harvest.
Wow... thank you for that.
Try perhaps a shade net on one of the spinach bed and see if there will be a difference
Nice one🎉🎉
Congratulations on your harwest sir. I would like to know. When is the perfect time to grow corn? What are some of the most important lessons you've learned and are there any common mistakes you have made along the way?
@@Louwxanthe thank you. Anytime except winter for me works well. Nutrition and pest management were and are still the greatest challenges. And yes I made a silly mistake on this harvest. I didn't give it enough nutrients...
Congratulations on the harvest
Eish, i had a similar experience😅
@@DigItProtea I wonder what causes that
I think you were supposed to remove those ears they are the ones that affects the cones ,so next time you have to remove them to make your cones good .
Nice🎉
Thanks for sharing your experience! Nice video! All the best!
Thank you my brother. I love your channel as well. Very informative . We appreciate you and the work.
You planted late
I also spread the leaves under and around my vegetables as a moisture retaining blanket through the hot summer.
@@Leviathontic they work those leaves
We use to rake up al the leaves from fall. About 2 years ago i decided to spread the leaves all over the garden. Now, whereever I dig to plant, I find earth worms. The leaves also assist in retaining the moisture in the soil under the leaves. And they compost right where I left them. They also assist in keeping the sun away from the weeds so they stopped growing.
I would love this!!😍 but I could never because now I have a new problem; Moles!!! Apparently they eat earthworms 😭if it's not cutworms, now it's moles. I'm tired.
@@sonwabiso_joy oh my goodness... so sorry about that. Quiting is not a solution. Soldier on
@@simondesveggies yup!! we have to, no other option!🦾🦾
We have lots of trees, which means many birds, and I have a few bird feeders. I guess the reason I don't struggle with cut worms is because of the birds.
@Leviathontic I must buy a bird house as well
❤🎉😊
How much do you sell 1kg for
@@YatsarEL-17 not selling

Wow thank you for the advice. And thank you 🙏
You can buy it online, you mix it with water and spray it over your plants. Aphids hate neem oil. ❤
Neem oil, from the neem plant.
