Whos gonna take care of his daughter? Just forgot she existed right? lol. At least his wife will have someone that actually loves her and will provide a safe home for his young daughter. Yes, cheating is wrong. Yes, she deserves to be punished. But if you truly loved this woman and the situation was the same as the main character, you gotta grow some balls and make the decision that'll provide the most long term gain rather than some useless pride
