@@Mitchell776 sometimes the cells weld together!! The fluid in the battery is to keep the cells from collapsing together & keep them clean & cool!!

Yes, when I tell folks I can split 16 inch rounds with this machine, they look at me like I am crazy! HA HA but it does. A couple of tips will help....first, file the edge of that wedge sharp...it is not very sharp from the factory, second, spray a bit of silicon spray on the wedge...a lot of that pooping noise you hear is the wood dry moving along the side of the wedge. A little lubricant works great! Also, some of the early noise you hear before the actual wood cracking, are those two return springs vibrating! LOL

You can use whatever at your place, my funnels were larger than the holes so I still had to use the spoon

Although i disagree wiith you oneaning i means go to church i do agree with the message. We have to remember in churches we are hearing the interpretation of the bible from the pastor. We need more importantly to interpret it ourselves and compare to others.

I like the idea of being able to split some firewood when the power is out! When that happens we heat our basement and cook on our wood stove!

For the $ that works pretty good. I had an electric 6 ton unit a few years ago and it was fine. I always enjoyed when the oak would pop real loud while splitting. The pressure knob on yours is nice and big. I like that you can stop the release if the log is shorter and the quick stop lets you quickly get the ram against the log. Thanks for sharing.

Fire-ants fairly well ended our use of sickle mowers in our area. Can still use them! Just have to cut high! O'yes! Wire are string? See, you had a hiccup!
I usually leave a 3”-4” stubble, this helps keep the hay from lying directly on the ground in case of a small shower or from the ground sweating at night, it also helps it to dry faster because wind can get underneath!! It’s a twine baler!!!

Yes if the knotters get covered with hay I let’s the bill hooks slip & the knot doesn’t tie!! Must keep them cleaned off, definitely gonna invest in a battery powered blower to help speed the process on that!!
You needed someone to film you up close, rolling edge on, and off. Air units are awesome, but pricey! Back in the 70s, a lot of rural stores had a kid who pumped gas, oil changes, and fixing flat tires! All done manually! No automatic machine in the store.

@hattcreekfarm I fully understand, sir! I had to step into health care for my mom and sister around November of 2020. Sister passed 1-7-2021 and mom 4-16-2023! I just got my disability the same month! My sister last conversion with me! Was how God placed me in position to help her and mom! Personally, I have had so far! 14 surgical operations on my legs and feet! Luckily, by God's grace, I can still walk.

i thought is was suppose to be distilled water instead of regular water because of the minerals. I'm looking forward to trying this.
It is, I just poured the distilled water in the smaller bottle because it’s easier to pour in the holes

What about the results ? What was the final voltage after doing the chemical additive and charging ? Were you able to place it back in the mower and show that it cranks like a charged battery?
This battery as I’ve commented in several replies, had a collapsed cell which resulted in it not holding a charge, but if you’ll read in these replies I stated that 2 others did great & are still cranking mowers!! Thanks for watching!! Please Subscribe!!

Captain obvious here, but you could have started those hydraulic line bolts before you cranked the pump housing bolts and they wouldn't have fought you so hard. Just saying 😉
