Someone in the stands called Isaac a faggot. This really messed with Isaac because he just found that his best friend, Colin, is actually gay, and Isaac had to find out for himself since Colin had kept his homosexuality a secret from the whole team. So Isaac was currently having trust issues with Colin, and being called a faggot just made Issac blow up.

I thought they actually dealt with it fairly well. Gay people exist in a team of 20-30 players one or two will definitely be gay it’s not woke to have one character who is. He actually had a good story and a character that wasn’t just “the gay one”

@@eziokocaj1998No. He was deleting the pictures of men off his phone, most probably of his secret boyfriend. The scene before the first basically is everyone deleting the sexual pictures or videos they’ve all been sent by fans. Colin is secretly gay, and is scared about coming out

@@batlax18at the start of the episode a friend of theirs gets her nudes leaked. So the team all make a pact to delete any photos they’ve received from women at the same time. Colin, not wanting to out himself, makes an excuse and acts all cagey, making it look like he just doesn’t want to delete them. He then sneaks out and starts to do it on his own, which is when this scene begins

It’s a bit of a spoiler for the show but Isaac is the team captain and he mandates that everyone on the team will delete naked pictures they have on their phones(the teams social media manager had just had hers leaked by an ex partner). Collin is gay but in the closet, so when Isaac takes his phone to delete the pictures he is shocked to see pics of men rather than women. Collin thinks that Isaac is treating him differently because he is gay, but it ends up being something else if you watch the show

******SPOILER******* . . . . . When Isaac grabs Collin’s phone, he realizes that Collin is gay. Isaac stops talking to him and the show wants you to think it’s because he’s prejudiced. But they reveal it to be the fact that Isaac didn’t care that Collin was gay. He was hurt that someone he’d known as a friend and been teammates with for years wouldn’t tell him the truth and he felt like he couldn’t trust him. Later in the episode, a fan is yelling homophobic slurs at the team, and this flips a violent switch in Isaac who attacks the fan as a defense of his friend even though he’s mad at him. That’s how the truth comes out about his reactions.

He found out Colin was gay. But he wasn’t angry about him being gay but more to do with the fact Colin didn’t tell Isaac
