@ want sure if you got aftermarket or not, was looking at a few 6x6 but thought you may have been running a lot of custom, the suspension is cool though, I saw some robotic suspension stuff with rope and pulleys I’d like to try someday

@@TimsRcsurgery oh you don't need to do quite that much the core itself and stock shocks and springs are good, the weakpoints beyond center of gravity (which i will say is bad) are mostly things people upgrade on cheaper rc's anyway, aka tyres, sometimes wheels, servos's and motors otherwise its a good base considering its price i wouldn't push a lot of money at it, but despite that, my only grip with it is the body doesn't work with the amount of flex it has

More brass didn’t work on this rig, too much weight up front then, going downhill at all it would flip over, I found weight on the centre axle only to work best, it’s still a very forward biased rig

I honestly don’t find them any better (or worse) But they are the only type I’ve had rip in several places (I’ve had to glue rips in all 6 tyres) They might be better depending or rock type but no real benefit here, and that’s with the Ott Six inserts

Haha, yes, she’s a full on petrol head, she’s more interested in 1:1 scale cars now but she’s been racing RC with me for years now, I’m sure she will be out again soon, thanks for the comment 😃👍

That is a MST RMX 2.0 kit just fitted with a VW body, it didn’t actually come with the kit

@@Gary-ee3kq maybe when mounted to a vehicle, but this will have a proper exhaust made with a cone at the top, this was just a quick fix for the man cave. I have fitted dozens of these over the years on vehicles, and yes, instructions say to angle down but that’s just to stop water gathering and entering the combustion chamber… that won’t happen with this when done and will keep fumes well away from the intake 👍

@@s-peschlbernd5728 it means it’s honestly nothing to do with me, I didn’t make it nor promise to make it. The guy that originally made it didn’t want to make anymore of them so he gave the design to a machine shop. It’s now in their hands but at the moment he has bigger fish to fry. Maybe available some time but not at the moment

@@s-peschlbernd5728 Hi, I don’t have any experience with outrunner motors unfortunately, so can’t advise, but i know the Holmes Hobby Revolvers are supposed to be very good. As for the Cantilever setup, it’s totally out of my hands, i am sure Lee will get to making them at some point, but he is working 7 days a week with no break in sight… he has not even had time to come racing, never mind make suspension for toy cars that folk will not want to pay much money for. I will try and get in touch with him tomorrow and see what he says, but i know before i ask what he will say 😫

OK, thanks for that. If he doesn't build it, I have to build it myself by hand. Because I really want to want to have this cantilever. I know it's not easy with time and money. I would pay up to 160 euros without thinking twice, at 200 euros it becomes painful. However, I know that this hardly compensates for the effort. It's a shame I've already fallen in love with its parts...then I'll probably have to build it myself. Maybe he still has a heart for crazy model makers like himself... I would like it. Thanks for the idea in my head. Hope dies last.

@ I know he has several prototype parts already machined, not a complete kit with all the links and rod ends needed. I might be able to get him to part with a set (all the cantilever parts are there) but would leave you needing to figure out how to best put it together. Not ideal I know, but you would have all the main parts needed, you would just need to take the time to finish and fit. I’m not sure if this is something he would be willing to do, but I could ask 🤷‍♂️

@ Proline Badlands…. Not on this surface unfortunately (wet Astroturf) I’m making it my mission to try and find a better alternative to Schumacher Spirals, but I’m sure if there was, everyone would be using them 😂😂 Still going to try and find something that nobody has thought about trying though 😂

@@rcplaytime there was actually more grip when it was flooded like that than when it was damp, I think the rain lifted and washed off any oil on the track, was an interesting race 😂😂

@@isaiahfurrow7414 it was great fun, the cars needed a full strip down that night, pretty much every bearing needed replaced/pulled apart and re oiled 😂 But there were plenty of smiles regardless 😃
