Please can someone explain are the streaks of light shooting stars or planes

When i was a kid i used to live in a small village near the ocean, where often times there is no electricity. When i look up, the sky is filled with stars and it was so beautiful. Me and my friends always compete to who find the Big Dipper and small dipper first. Now 10 years in California, I haven’t seen the big dipper even once. The sky looks empty, with so much light pollution. Seeing this video makes me want to stargazing

the insane reality is that the moving spots in the bortle 1-3 skies are meteors the ones in bortle 4+ are planes

Best video of Big Sur. Thank you Asif for sharing this. Wish I was in Big Sur now with temperatures in the 60's and low 70's in July. In Las Vegas now and it was 113 on July 12. Ugh.
