It is called Conky, in the menu look for MX Conky, it has a menu option "Conky Manager" then play with it until you find the one you like, I advice you to make first a snapshot of your system with timeshift or the equivalent just in case before playing with Conky, cheers!

I am using it for about a week and i so far it's run really smooth and stable,i alwayś run debian, mint xfce and ubuntu studio but MX linux is now on my go to list as one of my favorite distro i can recommend,tnx and cheers

Greetings,if you run MX linux with KDE you can run wayland,but most of wayland is still very beta and i could not care less about it!What i really care about is Pipewire audio subsystem and i alwayś run Xfce desktops anyway with Xorg,X11 and it runs amazing!Wayland is "ON THE WAY" since 2015 and i am done waiting for it!tnx for your comment and enjoy MX linux,Cheers from Alex

Greetings,I am sorry to hear that!This never happend to me as of today,but i have lately found tracktion waveform way more buggy in the last version(13)!Untill version 12 it was stable but version 13 is full of bugs and glitches!Waveform is developed by one main programmer so it is not that weird that it not that well optimized!If you use the free version then they will not respond to your email,because the free version haves no support!Normaly Waveform stores the projects default in documents so if they are not there they are gone!If you want something solid with more then 30 years of reputation,just use Cakewalk by bandlab,it's still for free for the time being and it's rock solid and you can keep your licence perpetual!i use it of late the most!Cheers from Alex and good luck with your audio production journey,

For the time being only ps3 & xbox360,but PC is gonna follow very soon i think,just as Bad Company did last year!You could be right that they keep it on PC online to retain the subscription players on gamepass and EA play etc!That could be the only reason they keep the pc and current and last gen console versions online for the time being,cheers from Alex

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are the versions that run on the Xbox One/Series and PS4/5 as well, so no it's not only happening there. And for Battlefield 4 and Hardline, the "Next-Gen" versions will also be shut down. Also, to run a community server you need a master server. You can't just run servers with nothing for them to connect to. That's why the gamespy shutdown killed so many games.

Hi There,How do you know if any proprietary software or operating system haves a virus in it that you use every day?You don´t,unless you are a coder/programmer and cyber security expert you have to trust the maker or publisher of the software you use!Opensource software is better but not alwayś 100% safe because sometimes even viruses and back doors appear in opensource software because the opensource developers are many times volunteers and don,t have the time or resources to test and check millions of line of code they push to packages or repositoryś for viruses,spyware,malware and randsomware ,I use UVR for years and never found a virus but that does not mean UVR is clean but itś a small project on github and most stuff from there is quit safe so i think you don´t need to worry to much about that my friend!cheers from Alex

Hi there, Sudo means: Superuser Do, so i alway´s feel like Superman when i do Sudo! You are right,for the man command you don't need to use sudo but old habits die slowely so i alway's use the Sudo command just as on windows i alway's open everything as Administrator so i have total control,and it makes me feel powerfull,LOL,Tnx for your comment and cheers from Alex

Hi there,thank you for your comment!You are correct that the Sudo command and giving Root permissions is a issue and can bork the system in the hands of a novice user or noob!But if you are a linux user and want to use and learn linux,you have to fall,just as a kid who rides a bike for the first time!Linux is not a operating system for people who look for a safe zone!it´s for IT guru´s and nerds who wanna explore and learn the OS!Sudo means:Superuser Do and i am a power user and i want power at the tips of my fingers!If people never us Sudo,then they never have full control of there linux box and i think that the linux community sometimes are to elites and fear mongering is only gonna scare people away from Linux as a platform.The commands that are mencioned in these video will not trash your system nor it will affect cyber security and online safety!For any viewer who is afraid to trash there system,they should just create a user account in linux and have no Root permissions at all!I think i mencioned in the video about the possible risks but i will take your advice and next time inform my viewers better about the possible risks!Tnx and Cheers from Alex

hi there,tnx for your nice comment!Tracktion waveform is a really nice DAW for a freedaw and haves a great Workflow!Years ago tracktion earned a bad name because it was owned and run by other companyś and developers but today itś a quite good DAW!Many people call it a underdog but talk about experiences and versions of years ago wich is a big shame!Also de project haves only one main developer so not bad compared to other DAWś out there!Reaper is great also but haves a learning curve but light on resources and costs 60 euro for the full version!Have a look also at Cakewalk by bandlab,wich is a great free DAW also!Lunar DAW by UAD is also a great but resource hog FREE DAW you can try out if you want!All DAWś have there drawbacks and cons but today you have the choice of many great DAW both free and payed for you to play with and find the one that fits your needs or haves the right workflow for you!20 years ago there where few DAW to pick from and all of them cost an arm and a leg,cheers Alex

Hi there,pipewire comes preinstalled on Zorin os.These are a lot of questions for one video!I was already planning a follow up video about zorin and pipewire so stay tunned and i will try to awnser your questions in that video!If cakewalk will work without latency issues i can not tell you but i will test it out as soon as i can!You can alway´s use Reaper or tracktion waveform and ardour for free on linux and payed DAW´s you can use Bitwig/soundbridge on Linux without any Latency issues,stay tunned for more,cheers

A video setting Cakewalk on Zorin and answering all the other questions would be awesome and will give more Windows users the clear understanding that it is possible to use Zorin 17.1 as a replacement for windows. Many of Windows users will do that seeing what possible with Zorin which is cleverly setup from the beginning for Windows users. It's like Zorin developers tell Windows users "Come here, don't worry, we got you". The fact that pipewire comes preinstalled on Zorin simply make everything easy. We, Windows users, are use to double click an exe file and installing. So less messing with the terminal, less mistakes and problems by chance. And while with Windows Software it is easy to set everything up with no latency because of the dedicated software and native ASIO driver of the audio interface. With Linux there are many questions. Is there's an ASIO driver equivalent on Linux? What happens when working with it under a windows version software using Wine and Bottles? (I do not know Wine and Bottles how to set it up at all). Also, I do not know if there's a low noise Audio interface with Linux dedicated drivers and how it will work with software that run through Wine and Bottles... Many things are not clear when there are no Linux version software. I simply have many things on Windows software version which I do not want to loose. Microsoft simply did such a mess for many of us and personally, I simply had it. There are videos all over youtube about windows foolish move. Zorin 17.1 couldn't come in better time and I'm grateful for that. Again Alex, making a detailed video step by step about those question would be awesome and it will be a door opening for many windows users who would to leave Windows and still use a familiar environment like Zorin have.
